  1. 1. John Lennon, his activism, influence and creativity would have continued to have a positive influence toward peace. Would also have diluted Paul's silly love songs. 2. Cyrus the Great or Darius III - both Kings of the Persian empire, the first great king, and the last great king (who fell to Alexander the Great). Would be really interesting to get the Persian perspective on Alexander the Great's conquest. 3. Euclid, Archimedes, or Herodotus - Getting an ancient Greek perspective on science or history would be really interesting since we know that a substantial amount of knowledge was lost upon the burning/decline of the Library at Alexandria and the Fall of the Western Roman Empire.

  11. 1. Lightspeed travel - Biggest issue I would see besides 'fuel consumption,' which could probably be handled using a nuclear fuel of some form, would likely be acceleration/deceleration. Our bodies can only handle so much of it in terms of G-Force, so while we could have the technology to get up to those speeds it would take incredible amounts of time for a manned space flight. Additionally, steering and avoiding unanticipated bodies in the path would probably limit the use of such speeds. Can we get close to the speed of light, absolutely, would it be useful, maybe? 2. Getting to new planet systems would require either long-term colony ships due to the distance between Us and the next planet system (min. ~1.5 ly) and the advances for prompt 1.
  12. Yes of course, refusing to take it, while it may be your choice, disregards the safety of those around you. If you choose not to, you should be barred from school, uni, etc... just like not taking the MMR or meningitis vaccines already required to attend such venues. Can't think of any reason other than true medical conditions not to take it other than being a selfish dolt.
