I've never see Amanda so involved with a community, making a ton of new friends and making the effort to fit in so seamlessly. @Howl - Yeah obviously I thought you may have been a weirdo when you first came around Tempest, but you fit in so seamlessly and forged strong relationships when I probably made it seem like you would never get a shot. As you got more involved, I was impressed with the time you quietly put in as a regular member before getting promoted. @Brian - From the fact that we had to basically sucker him into joining 😎, I'm surprised that he was willing to get involved as much as eh did. About a month in I could tell he'd be willing to, but from the beginning, I thought it was no shot. @Encore - I'm surprised this guy even joined, I didn't even DM him about the start of Tempest since I thought it would be an instant no and he'd chew me out for even considering it. Not only has he been a good member and an important asset to our TS community, his attitude and love for Tempest is on a level I never saw him have in DF. He truly cares about Tempest more than I thought he would. @Blogs / @Null - Especially with Joe, I thought there was a chance these guys were out of the clan thing for too long to really commit and enjoy the clan thing again. Adam_ 1,028 Posted August 25, 2021 Share Posted August 25, 2021 Do you think it's ironic that Ross tried to paint you in a bad light as a scammer but then for some time associated with Bles who is a known scammer that has tried to impersonate several people, tried to scam multiple RSD members by pretending to be someone from RSD history and has actually scammed numerous people including within his own clan? Were you at all surprised to hear what happened with Jim after your departure from DF? What clans do you not get along with at all? If you could take 3 people from each of the following clans to Tempest (officials or otherwise) who? Rot Rev AF CL PD VR Vit DF (you don't have to include sheli/frank that's pretty much a given) What do you think of each of those clans? Rot Rev AF CL PD VR Vit DF Do you think the med level/zerk/rune pure/whatever scene on RS ever really had a chance? Seems like it's been a pretty dead meme for the past x years now. Do you think the pure scene is headed in a good or bad direction? What do you think of clients used for warring? Was that a serious conversation? Were there ever any real talks between the two of you to get him here? Have there ever been talks between you and other current DF members to bring them here? In CR, I had moved Fire 3lade in a channel to tell him to get the clan under control/moving quicker since I was overwhelmed with tracking a clan and getting us organized in the best position to intercept the clan we were hunting. He basically blabbered something that made me feel like he didn't value me the way he should have (in my eyes) and something about how he knew better. Not sure that's how he meant it, but that's how I took it. Yeah, but I never really spoke to him until he was in CR. When he introed, I knew he was name was familiar and he flaked pretty quickly from UBH. We actually had some beef, he left CR pretty quick and I had started electronically dating a girl he had recruited. Lol, when I found that jersey I was so confused. Honestly, I love it. I love competing, I love working as a group, I love strategizing, building a community.. all of it man. There is no better feeling in the world than winning, no matter the venue.
