Tempest vs Reign of Terror

In recent months, many clans like Rev, DF, BC etc have been doing their best magic trick (disappearing act) when we have challenged them to step up and fight us. It's not really a surprise as they have a history of such behaviour, but unlike some midsized avoiders, we always step up to the plate when challenged. ROT enquired about a F2P fight and we were happy to accept and so scrap was set for Monday and we saved and prepped our seamen for the challenge ahead.

We massed up about 70 seamen and the second we saw B289 leading a fall in, rushed on sight with full force. We immediately had high spam towers and didn't let them fall for the entire fight. TS was full of energy from the start, from David's machine gun calling to James sucking down green tea's to increase his gumption, even Tim's kid screaming hearty battle cries in the background.

As the fight remained clean for 20 mins we began to wonder if any of the mid sized clans were going to even show up. Slowly but surely, one by one, Rev + DF + BC and about 3 other small clans we hardly recognized showed their faces and tried to sling a few arrows, but despite massing into one discord server (clumpa), they couldn't manage to get even same # of users in their voice chat as we had (one clan btw).

After reducing them to 1 item with auto retaliate on (extremely poor and probably android users), we pushed on without stopping to bother clearing the low impact crashers. We battled on with huge numbers in game and laughed every time an attempted pre-type went on the screen.

Enjoyed this festive fight between two top clans, very even and fair battle between the two of us and it's pretty obvious at this point that there are only two real clans left in the game and the best the rest of em can hope for is to show up in 1 item in an attempt to get some loots (poor, android owners).
