• True 2k8, Icedrop & Ghjjf leadership - this trio could cause havoc with their experience, contacts and leadership style, especially in their primes.

• Council - Jelle, H A Richards, Hickchic(from TCC, an ex-clan) - The maturity of these guys is perfect for this sort of rank. All workaholics and have a cool head on their shoulders.
• App Managers - Mitzella, Alice, Janne. Perfect e-girl trio. This would bring in a lot of simps which we could use to our advantage to pull high opts.

 

 

Time. Given more time and the position of Envy when it closed, we seemed that we had a shot at doing it given the continued hard work and momentum. Before that? We just took a while to rise, it was sort of like the current story of bitcoin. We started low, hit a peak, then would dump, then would hit an even higher peak the next time, then dump, the hit an even higher peak. The last peak we hit just before we were closing is like the current bull run, it felt like it was going to be unstoppable. Would it/will it be? Who knows. I ended up closing it before we could find out just like the government will regulate crypto before it takes over the world

Good answer, What about just the idea of you joining a bigger clan instead of another mid sized clan?

What kept you from moving up from the mid clans to the big clans?

I imagine the community is a big reason certain clans have stayed relevant so many years later.

DF was probably the clan with the longest reign at #1 from the time DS closed in the spring of 2007 --> EOC.

 

They shared time at #1 with Corruption in 2007, around 50/50 (DF had a couple months after DS closed, COR had summer -> October, DF October -> 2008). 

Transitioned to CWA and went undefeated in that CJ tournament/Zybez, including beating TRWF/TT which everyone pegged as favorites and essentially stayed at either #1/2 until DI closed and the crash war started.

 

VR was "#1" from late 2009 until mid 2010 when RSD passed them for a while and that was it. RoT/TT/DF/RSD/COR/EOS all took turns at the top in 2011/2012 depending on the week.

I don't remember Corr being better then Df in 07 Summer. 

I do remember DF stomping Corr in a official war in 07 summer tho lol. Once DS closed, DF took down Corr (that day) and then DI that weekend or the weekend after and I don't remember us ever letting up, that was the summer I was gone tho so I guess it could of happened.

Lol Evizo saying Vr has always defeated DF made me laugh. We used to crush VR during the golden era. Eventually though VR didn't surpass us (around the 1st crash war in 2010/11? idk I was retired). 

I'm gonna say DF but I have no idea.

So I joined DF at 17, and I had just started smoking a lot, due to family shit, not the point, I'd get stoned then get on TS and hang out with Ves. He started learning when I was high and when I wasn't and he'd start calling me out on it in front of everyone and make fun of me a lot for it lol. It actually kind of took me by surprise when he started smoking, but that wasn't until around 09/10 when he started going inactive and ended up (rumer) selling his computer for money to buy weed lol.

Pretty sure our rivalry was prior to early 2007, It was already in full swing before I joined DF. Ds closed on pi day 07. So March 14th 07.
