@Bow tl;dr of the Bles situation?

Whoever it is went through the old RSD memberlist, found names to impersonate, tried to get RSD to re-open using said names, got caught.  Went into hiding, repeated the same thing with a different RSN.  I'm sure it will happen again, seems inevitable.

@Bow did you see a world where you would have taken a promotion in DF while there? Do you think it could have worked?

No, I don't see a world where I would ever be in an active role for any full clan ever again.

    - How seriously did RSD take cwa?

    - What was the biggest/most important war that you should've won but choked/lost?

    - What are your thoughts on mid-sized clans like Downfall, FSK, TR, etc?

As seriously as we took everything else.  We wanted to win and there was a reason we kept track of wins/losses over time. And always wanted a higher win percentage each month.

I think we could have won every J Cup tournament we entered.  Bummed we didn't.

I've always had an affinity for the mid-size clan world, its what I wanted to be a part of because its easier to have aspirations to improve and grow.  Its a different kind of world than being at the top holding it.

Why/how did you start the whole 1 year prep trip?

Why did people call you grandads/grandmas - was your average age actually that much older?

Why did your clan have such a "holier than thou" attitude. I hated fighting RSD because it was hard to get motivated to. If so much as one of my members dropped any kind of flame your officials were always straight into my pms complaining.

I believe it was DF bantered after losing a fight a few days before Christmas, and said our pull was because of a year prep or some nonsense.  It became a joke topic in our spam forum about a year prep and who would be there.. as dates got closer and the clan world was tied up in a crash war per usual, we just went with having a pk trip on that same day for the luls of it.  I don't believe anyone came out to fight.

Mostly Grandmas and Grandpas because we had a few members who were older, but more so our average age was probably 5-6 years older than most other clans like EoS, VR, DF.  Easy banter that just stuck for the clan world.  Funny enough it never offended any of us, we embraced it.  Imagine losing to old people, such losers.

I'm sure there were some officials that would PM, I don't recall any time where I went to any opposing clan and asked for banter to stop.  It was entertaining to me.  As far as a holier than thou, I think the elitism that was instilled just rubbed people that way.  We had the highest reqs to get in, we had the highest activity requirements, and rigorous trial process.  If our people wanted to be the best they'd strive for it and join and hit those bench marks.  I don't think anyone was ever told to be that way or put off that perception, just turned out we weren't phased or caught up in the petty crap.  So in the end it maybe it wasn't so much an attitude, we just were better and that annoyed people.

@Bow You are a Twins fan?  Are you from MN?  If so, what part?  Would have been interesting to get together with a fellow person from the clan world.  Only one I ever met was Flinstoneman from DF.

I am a Twins fan to a fault.  I am not from MN.

2006 to 2007, I had the absolute most fun and care free time of my game play. Met most of my best friends on the game in those years as well.

Is there anyone you regretted ranking?

is there anyone you think would have been a good rank but never got the opportunity?

Probably Aragon.  It became a complete joke to the members.

Not sure on the other, its hard to say because I feel most people were ranked that wanted to be and deserved to be in time through their commitment.

Do you think that RSD would of survived if you remained as a skill/pk clan?

Yes.  Only clan of its size to manage the ability to do both over the years.  It was part of the foundation and rooted in the community.

@Bow Will the Twins finally beat the Yankees in the playoffs?

I have hope.   Yankees are coming off injuries and peaking and the Twins are still up and down with pitching, and a few injuries ourselves.   Same old shit different year.

@Bow what did you think about rsd spare unit crashing and why was no action ever taken against those involved?

It pissed me off.  There were a lot of people strike over crashing over the years when they were caught.

Of the one notable occurrence that it happened I was extremely pissed, I don't think I could even talk to the people involved for a day.  Less annoyed that people did it but more about it involving 20 members including co leaders and a multitude of ranks who outright lied about doing it to me.

What are some things you wanted to do with RSD that you never got to do?

If RSD never existed, what clan do you think you would have vibed with best during your peak RS activity?

Most overrated clan in RS history?

I always thought the idea of an actual real life meet up with a larger group of members would have been worthwhile.  It would been interesting to see how personalities would have meshed.  Everything game wise I feel like we accomplished however.

If RSD didn't exist then DI wouldn't have existed and they were likely would have been the second choice.  Maybe Titans but their unwillingness to p2p pk would have been terrible.  The rest of the clans I don't know if I could have stomached the average ages.  I could have seen myself finding a smaller clan and just hanging out just the same.

    VR, definitely.

@Bow - Going from nominated >co leader > Leader. with the "didn't expect getting it/no one did" Did that force you to step up/enjoy the game again? Or was it more so "I'm happy to keep playing the game the same way?" or did it force you to change how you played / led.

Honestly not a lot changed for me.  I always was fairly vocal in my opinions, suggestions, and wanting the clan to succeed.  I just didn't do it from a rank role.  I thought the entire thing was a joke to begin with and I believe I may have even told Icedrop to stop messing with me.  I didn't have to change a whole lot, I continued to play the game as much as I always did, if anything it elevated me because I played alongside with the active members and got to gain that level of respect with them.  I was always present. The one thing it did change was I did withdraw from some closer friendships to keep my impartiality when it came to clan decisions.  It kind of sucked on some level but at the time I felt it was necessary to lead appropriately.  I would have liked to have found a better balance, lost touch with a lot of awesome people since.

What were some of the weakest points in RSD history in each of your opinions?

I would have to say the lowest point was when RSD went to being a p2p pk only clan in early 07 and lost a ridiculous amount of members in that transition.  I get the reasoning behind it and such but it really took a toll and a reality check.  Luckily the course corrected and the rest is history.  Other than that, there was a fight in bounty hunter where RoT basically demolished our entire fall in in a barrage pile in a few minutes, that was hard to stomach.  Luckily it didn't have any long term effects, it was just embarrassing.

@Bow have you ever leaked any IP's from RSC

@Bow @Icedrop - What kind of power abusing did you do on Zybez? How do you use your status to manipulate things in favor of RSD?

No and the thought never crossed my mind.  I'd say the most power abusing thing I did was delete some really stupid posts by RSD members and often opponents when no one else was on to take care of them.  Everything else I tried to stay out of if it involved RSD.

How does it feel to be a Jagex Cup Champ?

If you guy could bring RSD back to OSRS  would you?

What led to the closure of RSD? If you had the choice would you have kept the clan open?

Did you guys have any spies in any clans?

Felt pretty good, which is why we did it multiple times.  It was definitely better than all the CJ tournaments we won.

I would not bring it back.  The timing was right to close, people were losing interest and the game had gone stale.  Less people playing for the enjoyment of it and more of a chore and that was not healthy.  Combine that with a very lackluster clan world and outlook at the time and it was closed down.

I never personally had a spy, more often than not it was disgruntled members who just wanted to share information for whatever reason.  They never wanted anything in return.

I never doxxed anyone.  Sure I looked into a brief overview of peoples clan histories and account histories if there was any selling or sharing that could be found but thats it.

    Never hacked, never scammed.

I don't remember ever lurking on RSD members.  No, never met her.

What was your least favorite things about each others leading styles?

Least favorite?  There were times it was hard to get him to focus and would be hit with the most random comments, gifs, videos, and whatever else when you were trying to have a serious conversation.  Most of the time though alcohol was involved so that was probably my mistake.

What do you think of the fights between RSD/TT during the years of 2009-2011? Also @Bow there was a specific fight where TT was getting heavily crashed by VR and we approached you, asking you to stop and you didn't. It was a very odd thing from RSD to do (you ended up losing that fight). Why? We always had clean and respectable fights, but that one you decided to rebel against your own codes.

It's 2020. I don't really care or hold grudges, but it's still something I remember shocking me back then. Ty for doing this btw ?

Best fights hands down, only ones I truly looked forward to for a challenge.  No one else could bring out the best in us.

There were a couple fights in a row that were filled with nonsense, that one especially.   It had little to do with code and everything to do with being tired of time being wasted chasing a handful of people around.  We were given intel on VR and DK's whereabouts and at the time the consensus was it didn't justify the repeated stoppage.  People were growing impatient and decisions were made.  It happened to us in return when RoT closed to mass join TT, at the end of the day, Shit happens.

    @ all

What is the most "NH" thing you did as leader? Or even something you allowed to happen? If nothing, what have you been tempted to do? Have you ever coordinated your fights to be crashed?

How do you feel like you stood compared the other leaders in your era? What other leaders did you feel like were "overrated"?

How do you want to be remembered?

I think I may have crashed a fight once or twice when I was a member and it was still considered less severe.  Once ranked I never did.   I never coordinated or was a part of antics that had happened though, often I would have loved to avoid them all together.

I never compared myself to anyone else.  I wanted to be as successful as Livin was early on and bring that kind of greatness back to RSD.  I felt like I was able to do that but only because of the people who I surrounded myself with and putting the faith in the members to carry out their part of the responsibilities.  I never understood how most people got to where they did, like you did in DF.  But people like you so I guess that explains itself.

Honestly, I'd rather people forgot about me.  I just did what needed to be done.

Thoughts on Jaybird as a caller and official?

Yes, they ran off with a red phat.  Never trust or date someone broke enough IRL to steal pixels for a cash grab.

Cutest?  Hamp freak, if the pictures were real.  Odds are they weren't though.

Jared was a great official for RSD, he was tactical, committed, and you could count on him.

If RSD opened today how would you adapt to the current scene? Who would be your ideal staff team from the entire rsd ml?

It'd have to be around the original make up of what RSD was about, same stature and rules and founding principles.  To start it'd need people who want to play the game and enjoy it.  It'd help having some ex-ranks or members who knew and wanted to make it happen.  Notably the leaders on this thread.

1.What you guys think about the clan world nowdays? does it have any chance of being something better then that shit?

2.Would you guys play in a clan again or rebuild/reopen RSD?

3.What you guys think about this RoT domminance? most exactly about their "we do everything to win, including DDoS, Doxing, hacking, etc." posture.

I don't follow the clan world much at all, I haven't gone pking in years now and I don't have any ambition to.  From people I've talked to vaguely about it it sounds like it plateaued on OSRS years ago and is even a shell of what it was then.  If it exists out of nostalgia and people going out and having fun once in a while, all the power to people that want to do that.

I never stopped playing the game and I have no plans to.  I enjoy my passive approach and the community of the pvm clan I'm a part of now.  As I've said before RSD is not in the cards.  People have moved on and that is the best thing for everyone.

I'm not aware of what RoT is doing these days to all of those points.  Sounds like the same things that haunted them in years past if any of it were true.

What can you tell us about the RSD Cassandra? She was one of those girls without a microphone for ages and I remember there was some post-RSD shit about her being a catfish.

I don't know much about Cassandra, they never talked that I can remember in RSD.  Cassandra was an app manager who had a lot of free time to process apps and research people.  Along with ties to DF at the time.  For the most part the majority of members liked them and things worked out in RSD's benefit at the time.  I don't feel like speculating beyond that.

You might want to ask Justintimne(?) or LJ#s(?), they seemed to know Cassandra better.
