  1. I would say not as strict, but that is probably a good thing, there were times I will admit that I went over board. After I handed the leadership to Ice, I didn't pay a lot of attention, #1 I knew he would do a good job, since he did more than people realize in the co-leader position, #2 my life was just too busy at the time to really pay that close attention and even was quite busy in 2007 which I think affected the clan, because I wasn't as active as I really wanted to be(I personally think RSD could have been better if this thing called RL didn't get in the way lol :), or I had stepped away sooner and gave the clan to a more active individual, but you know ego and all). Unfortunately, I cannot really comment during Bow's leadership, at this point I had written off RuneScape, maybe occasionally logging in to just see what the game was about, but never stuck around for a long period.
  2. I am adding to this since I saw a 2007 Member list to bring back some memories. Prinze Joe, Dj Mochasins, Hlprap, F1r3o, H A 12 D, Skeletorus09, Beckham69, Godstruewill, Timebeast, Bclayj2. Honestly, so many more I could add, if only I could remember the members from the earlier days.
  3. Absolutely, majority of RSDs years were a split between the two, more so the PK side. But everyone pitched in for the most part.
  4. Oh this is a fun one. This guy was a lose cannon to say the least. So the story goes (short version). Dravenstormn and Needamaid ended up e-dating or whatever you call it on RS. She gave him a lot of her stuff as he was always begging for shit. I was good friends with both, at least I thought I was. Anyways, as Dravenstormn does and has done on multiple occasions, he just stopped logging in. He was probably in jail lol. Months had past and no Dravenstormn, so Needamaid came begging to me to help her get her stuff back, after hours of begging, I finally said fine. She gave me his account information and I logged in and gave her, her items back (based on what she told me). It honestly wasn't all that much, some runes, pots, and maybe a few armor sets. Also, she pulled this same shit with Rem0xing who was the old co-leader, so apparently he did the same thing I did. Who knows who else she got involved, to clean out his bank. That was that, so I thought. Maybe a year or two later, Draven is contacting me asking why I "hacked" him. Needamaid had stopped playing by this time. So apparently, they rekindled their relationship (don't know if it was online thing or actually in person), anyways apparently she told him that I hacked his account and took all his stuff, lol. So I attempted to explain to him what happened, apologized because I shouldn't have helped her to only get back stabbed. I ended up giving him quite a lot to try to make amends on my actions. Only thing that should be mentioned with RSD and Dravenstormn, was he created it. He was not dedicated to the clan, he didn't give a shit tbh. If I hadn't taken over when I did, there would be no RSD.
  5. When we transitioned from PK/Skilling clan to PK clan. We lost a lot of members during this transition.
  6. Would to have like to cement RSD more in the record books, but tbh, I think we did alright ? If RSD never existed, hmm, maybe at the time I was playing, probably BK or Gladz, who knows I might have never joined a clan. Most overrated? I always thought VR was a bit overrated, at times DI and DS too.
  7. RSC Pking by far was my favorite with RSD, especially those MB PK's. A lot of fun times, then RS2 came with multi wild and I never survived again lmao.
  8. If I had the time, the character leveled and the motivation, sure I would haha. In 2004, I was spending far too much time on the game and I got burnt out, so I closed RSD on whim, with zero notice. Yes I would have kept the clan opened, if I had just given it some more thought and not close it out of nowhere. In 2008, I was finishing up college courses, had two little kids with a third on the way, I just couldn't dedicate the time required to be an effective leader, so I handed the reigns to Icedrop and walked away. During my time, no spies were ever purposely implemented in other clans. We did have individuals contact us occasionally to offer information, which I personally never accepted.
  9. I was 21 when I started leading. I was in the military as well which is probably what caused the maturity level to be higher than my actual age and I wanted to instill that into RSD as well. Biggest regret was closing RSD for the first time in 2004, doing this completely shifted the clan world, as RSD was on top when I closed it. Our requirements shifted, but they were high. I believe in RSC days they were combat 110, RS2 and beyond 120? Looks right, but I can't say with certainty though. There were other type of skill requirements as well. Perhaps Icedrop can correct me if I am wrong. RSD never purposely crashed wars, DI did. DI at least during the RSC days were allowed to PK members if there was no official war or PKRI. DI implemented spies, hacked forums and other things. I will stop here as to not turn this into an RSD and DI thread. Mage Bank PKers, that was so long ago, I can't give you names. I know I practically was at the Mage Bank daily, so can I include myself lol?
  10. Yes I do recall the PKRI after we killed Bigaboys. That happened a lot in those days, kill a member of another clan, 10 mins later you would have a mini battle between both clans. Those imo were the best and most fun days. I think what might have caused a lot of clans to not transition to RS2 very well, was the multi areas in the wilderness. It was a huge change from RSC to RS2 and I think a lot just gave up too easily. I personally never enjoyed the long PKRIs, at times they got way too long, this might also be a reason some clans didn't last long. But yes, I believe you hit the nail on the head with your opinion of rivalries and being able to afford items and wanting to be the 'best'. There were times where we attempted to work with the other clans to have a set time tables on wars and some of the PKRIs that just took too long.
  11. I can't recall a specific time where I did or allowed something that was considered 'NH'. Not saying I haven't, just nothing comes to mind. I am sure some mistakes were made at times, as we are human. I do recall one instance of a few individuals trying to give me information on DI prior to a war we had, such as their tactics, that I 'thought' about accepting but eventually turned down. I honestly never paid much attention to what other leaders of other clans did, I focused on RSD only and our goals. I couldn't even tell you who the leaders of the other clans were, besides DI, as RSD had the most interaction with DI. If I saw the name, then I could probably tell you what clan they led, I delegated a lot of the clan interactions to other officials (setting up wars, events etc.). I usually only got involved if needed. I feel I stood above majority of the other leaders in my time, it was evident due to the nature of what people knew RSD stood for and our sheer strength and will. Near my latter years (2007), I wasn't dedicating as much time as I wanted to, so there were times where RSD wasn't at it's best. But there was still a great core that was capable of doing what was needed. I feel like most leaders (including myself) are overrated. It is the other officials and clan members that make a clan great, leader only points them in the direction. I don't care if I am ever remembered TBH, just that RSD will always be considered a #5 clan of all time. Because if you don't think so, then I feel you are very misinformed and never experience the RSD during its time.
  12. Lol why I need a member list damn it. I have been away from this game far too long.
  13. I would follow the same principles I had in the past. However, before opening, I would ensure I studied how the current clan scene was and just make educated decisions on how to adapt and proceed with making a great clan.
  14. 1. Haven't been keeping up with it, so I can't comment. 2. Highly unlikely, I don't want to have to dedicate my time like in the past. I am 40 years old. 3. Not surprising they did the same shit back in the day as well. RoT has always been like this. It will have to take the clan community to come together to fix it, if it isn't too late.
  15. This was another reason RSD has high requirements and in depth vetting process for applicants. We knew some would still get through, it was just something we had to deal with. In addition to that, we took roll call so to speak for events, had members sign up for wars so we could keep track and hopefully find a spy. We also had administration tools on the forum, that would show all IP's an account was logged in with. I don't have favorites ?
  16. Less time doing forum administration, more time in game interacting with members. Miner Cire, Lord Weasley, Mr 800. Court Members. I really need a member list to accurately answer this, it has been far too long.
  17. Miner Cire, Lord Weasley, Mr 800, Doe Slayer, Joker10384, Icedrop ?
  18. Not many stick out, it was never a memorable moment having to kick someone from the clan. However, one person by the name of 'Bigaboys' was kicked as he just didn't want to follow the PKing rules. This lead him to create, what some of you may know as 'Damage Inc.' lol.
  19. I will just say, I believe the average age of RSD members was the highest compared to other clans.
  20. Always had the respect for him for what he accomplished with DI. But at the same time I think he let quite a few do as they pleased and didn't care of the aftermath. Also believe he wanted to win so badly, some not so admiral things were done on his end. I will leave it at that.
  21. Damage Inc. of course. We were always going at it for one reason or another. But I do think there was mutual respect between us two as well.
  22. There have been so many! RSC days, I would say against MI. This was fun, because MI consisted of some top RSC PKers at the time. RSD vs DI 2004 in the new RS2. This was memorable due to the sheer domination and the fact this was probably my only war that I actually never died in lol. DI will always be considered RSDs biggest rivalry during my days, we had been fighting each other for years.
  23. Strengths: Dedication and hours I put toward the clan, both in game and outside (forums). Discipline and organization. Weaknesses: Wasn't lenient enough in some cases where I probably should have been. Could be an ass at times lol.
  24. Rules: If you have a specific question for one of the individuals, please use @LivinLarge21, @Icedrop, @Bow or for all three @RSD. LivinLarge21 (2001-2008): Hello all, I am LivinLarge21. Started playing RuneScape in June 2001, at first, I did not like the game, but after giving it a few more tries, it grew on me. In late 2001 I joined RuneScape Dinasty (RSD), after the creator/leader at the time, kept trying to PK me at the Hobgoblins. When I first joined, it was a small 50 member or so clan that was just starting, it was comprised of both skilling and PKing players. In my short time in the clan, I became a well-known figure based off of PKing. The co-leader ended up quitting RuneScape all together and I was promoted. Shortly, after the creator/leader of RSD went MIA for a month, I took it upon myself to take over the full leadership role and get the clan moving in the right direction. Where I got some proper forums created and started recruitment. I continued leading RSD until late 2004, in which I decided to close the clan when we were undisputed #1(one of my regrets), as I just felt I was overwhelmed and overworked(I had two little kids at this time). This opened the gate for other clans such as DI to emerge and take dominance in the clan world. Roughly 4-6 months later, once I was able to manage my free time better. I decided to re-open RSD. A lot of the old members quickly rejoined, along with some new. This time though, I decided I was not going to do it all on my own, so I ensured I had a co-leader and other roles within the clan to assist with the day to day duties. We quickly began to gain our previous dominance back, in which we reached one of/if not top clan status again.(all biased opinions here, unless you were part of said clan/community). With the uncertainty on how the new RuneScape (OSRS now) would transition to clans, RSD remained a PKing/Skilling clan, shortly after however, it was determined that RSD needed to be more PK oriented to be able to compete, which caused our numbers to drop drastically for a few month. But we were able to bounce back and compete with every clan, beating majority. Once my personal life caught back up to me. I decided to step down as Leader in 2008, this time handing the Leadership into the hands of Icedrop and others. When able, I provided advice to current Leadership and still assisted on the forums and attended events when I could. I eventually stepped away for good in 2009/2010 for a few years. Popping in occasionally to see how RuneScape and the clan world was doing. One thing that I think made RSD different, was the maturity and the way we handled ourselves. We strived to be a clan that was honorable, that did not talk ‘shit’ on forums and so forth. Of course, some did not adhere to such rules and they were dealt with accordingly. We were more about each other and living up to a specific code, then being the best PK clan in RS. The fact that we were both a skilling and pking clan for majority of our reign as a top clan speaks volumes to all members that dedicated endless hours to the clan, to me there will never be a better clan. We could have been a strictly PK clan for the entire time and TBH, I don't think anyone would have matched us.(again biased opinion). We could have easily crashed wars, hacked forums, put spies in other clans like so many other clans did. But we were better than that and didn’t need the upper hand in most cases, because we had a great foundation and strength to compete and beat anyone, which we did.
