Yea banking was awkward and new quests were a nightmare. Gotta remember there was like 3 servers too so you couldn't just hop to talk to an NPC really. Banking also didn't have withdraw all/x, the max amount was 2500 (?), so if you had a large cash stack to withdraw or wanted to trade a high amount of GP it was rough. I had a friend when I first started playing who would carry around like half his cash stack at all times.
