Top 10 for sure. Collision is a clan with it's own legacy and no one can argue against that. We competed with Vr, Corr, Eh a few times during our peak years and even got some great victories under our belt. We outlived many clans while always being active in the mid tier and sucessfully passed the helm to like 4-5 different leaders from different eras (which many other clan leaders refused to do). We were pretty solid until EOC I believe. I think the main thing about collision was that we were always a tight knit group and never really tried hard to expand or take on low quality members. We simply played to enjoy the game.

I don't know much honestly. I know rot is still around and a few other familiar names but I think the game has moved on from large organized clans.

    Lol

Bro, if someone asked me to shoot names out of 30 clans, yours wouldn't even come to mind. Even when I mention TT, I still wouldn't remember Collision existed.

Yeah there's a lot of respect for being able to transition leadership and longevity, but when you spend countless years in the shadow of another clan and living off their legacy, you lose points in my book. We don't go around talking about TMRD, Bk or Jagz as being a top 10 clan because Gladz and 'The' were relevant.

    Di

    Rot

    Ds

    Gladz

    Vr

    Df

    Tt

    Sol

    Fools

    Eh

Which one of those clans does Col take the spot of? Lol

-Anarchy, 'The', Td, Cr, Dfall, Tr, DL, CL, Sa, Exer, Tmrd, Bk Ag, Jaja, FL, Ni, Scum, Ha, Sog, LF, Dwood, Ph, Poison, Cor, Wg....You get the point. Corr/Eos could be top 10, Mk could also be top 10. These clans accomplished things and changed the clan scene. Even clans like DL are more relevant then Col. Awaken is more relevant then Collision, because Awaken merged into Hostile, which turned into Vr. It's where Cera S6 and General shop came out of. What did Col do bro? You guys were the legless step brother of Tt, being pushed around by them in a wheelchair and TT got drunk one day and lost you guys. The body was never recovered until this topic was made.

Here's my question, what exactly did Collision accomplish throughout the decade it was alive? Having close ties to TT, did this ever impact you in regards to your retention of members? Did you lose many/any of your recruits/core members to your main clan?

No its the old "nobody needed a special reason to boot you from a clan so your story isn't adding up"

    The 5 hour long 10v10's vs venomous and his fan club was always entertaining.{Nope not really lmao}

Oh I see what you're saying. I was talking about who actually crashed who first rather than who said they were crashing who first. 10 year old beef is wild lmao

Yeah no doubt, quite embarrassing what a spastic I was, pretty shameful.

After the convo with Krunal I went to Ben and Scott. I said this guy keeps saying we decline his fight offers, he's full of shit. Ben's like nah, they ask me everyday and I decline. I was like....? LMAO

You started it in the sense you kept talking and doing dumb shit but I'm pretty certain we were the first to crash though.

Maybe? I'm pretty sure I went into a private pm with Krunal, called him a pussy and told him it's on lol. Scott can probably confirm it was me who declared first. I think ironically the "acing" you guys were doing to help Col was what pissed me off and I declared a crash war off of it. I've been trying to remember that clans name for a while now, Col.

See you do have the logs and you can see he's trying to deny crashing lol....?

It's been a while so some of the details are hazy but I remember before the PH vs Exalt crash war, Exalt had fights with other mid-size clans like Ascension and the RSC threads would get pretty nasty. So I figured Exalt must've done something to piss off the other clans like Ascension/Exodus/etc since you were the common factor. It wasn't the longest crash war or anything but I do remember having fun during that one, seems like you guys had some internal conflicts as well which led to closure that I wasn't aware of.

O yeah lol. Internal conflict is an understatement. When your co-leader rage quits Ts in front of 50 members, then proceeds to camp  your warlord whose calling for 30 minutes against a clan you're fighting....Exalt was a different breed of spastic.

    Exodus was because of the beef between Scott and Eric. My router was never the same again....{BV1}

You might be correct on Ascension, I'm not sure. From my recollection of dealing with that clan and it's leadership, it was very difficult to set up fights. They were absolute pussies. Not sure what others think about that clan or how their interactions went, but I felt they tried to avoid fights they might lose at all cost.

I definitely enjoyed the fights between Exalt and PH. They were back and forth, competitive and the beef was kept in game unlike the majority of the shit I was dealing with at the time with the other clans I mentioned. I even enjoyed the small drama's on Zybez after too lmao.

Not sure about every other clan but with us we just decided to crash you because you specifically were talking a lot of shit, probably on RSC but cant remember tbh, so that probably played into why clans didnt want to fight you at the time although I'm sure we still would have.

99% sure I was the one who started the crash war with you guys, not the other way around lmao.

Favorite rivalry? DK may have been the longest one but I enjoyed the somewhat short crash war we had with Exalt in like 2011 or so. They managed to piss off almost all of the mid size clan world by disputing every fight result and talked a lot of shit, it resulted in nobody bothering to AC for them. They slumped and closed sometime after from what I remember.

The PH VS Gen crash war started because Genesis killed Krunal for his Gravite 2h sword. Krunal will have to answer the exact details cause I wasn't there at the time. It sounds ridiculous but that's what triggered it.

Scummiest stuff I was involved in was the amount of CWA luring we did in 2011, I remember we lured an Ely at one point. Our lure method was basically to recruit a couple of randoms with gear into our CC, start a safe clan war with a level 90 alt. Then our clan member on the level 90 would talk lots of shit. Then we'd pretend to trick the shit talker into a dangerous war and then kill the randoms that joined our CC for their stuff.

It definitely had nothing to do with disputing fight results on Zybez.  Most of the clans crashing us, refused to fight us in the wild. Exalt just had way too many ego's and spastics in it who had beef with various other clans. I'd consider Exalt a mini version of Vr, where a lot of people who were rejects/hated from other clans were all gathered under one banner. Then it got semi-strong and had some limited success. Which made a lot of people jealous. Eventually we started getting starved for fights and the few fights we had, were intensely crashed.

The Ph fights were fun. You guys had CD, we had DK. But then all of our fan club would come, Dwood, Asc, Exo, Cl and other random idiots who I had no idea existed prior to me joining Exalt. Downfall was the only clan I could remember who would try to ac for us? I asked one of my best friends to kill Ph, but his clan kept having Rsd intervene. Eventually Rsd was out of the picture, but by that time Exalt was a wrap, Scott and Ben were at each others throats driving me nuts. I closed Exalt and then Vr went after Ph.

    Fun times though!

  9. W40 hobgoblins, having retards from 'the' team up on me. I was a level 90 trying to mine addy and a bunch of virgins kept attacking me. It got me so aggravated that I decided to make it a personal goal of mine to kill that clan, this was back in 2005. To my surprise a lot of people hated 'the' as well and I connected with some of them. I started my own clan with Lycan Slayer to kill 'the'. It didn't last long with the guy scamming a clan member for a whip. But the connections were made, I became aware of the clan world. I got recruited from the hobgoblins into Nation of Domination where I met Lancer 3000, who was my intro into top clanning, to this date that's still one of my brothers lol. I also met Zacinblack1 and Josh_Bj during these hobgoblin battles. It was an interesting part of the clan world, it would draw all walks of life to it, sometimes people like Bibleboy would come to flame and kill 'the', I met Kidefence512, Speedhawaii, Half Dollar1 and a bunch of Ds here. W3 castle was where it was at though for Ds and the big names to fight it out at.

From Nod I splintered off into Td and Sa. Td2 died and then Sa was formed. I got moderator in that clan, Sa died after like 3 months. Made Ids with Thugster1, got offered to merge with Awaken and Anarchy. General shop was a friend from world 3 hill giant pking. Ambersky was a really close friend because she would come and kill 'the' with me everyday. We merged into Anarchy instead of Awaken because of that and I got warlord in it, I think Bv1 was in it at the time lol. Talking about Anarchy, shout outs to Bender Bot and Luzeak1, two of the realest dudes I've ever met in this game.

But yeah, fuck 'The' clan, Kill oranges all day.

The official war with DS was the first time we fought them. That was September 06. After that we comfortably won the next few run ins, I think we went at least 6-0? and that took us into early 2007. That was when they started to win. On F2P quality didn't mean much so there was no advantage/disadvantage on either side there really. The major reason we lost our top spot to them was simply the fact they had very few Europeans and 40+ AEST members. DI on the other hand was pretty GMT/EST based. There was simply nothing we could do when they set out to outlast us. After they closed we regained number 1 spot for a bit but after that it was really anyone's game. A major reason behind that is most DI were in DI for P2P and not F2P. I think people just got burned out on F2P and the desire wasn't as strong as it used to be. Wasn't too long after they removed wilderness and everything changed again anyway.

No particular reason for the chain and full helm other than to keep the identity. Like certain people wore coloured boots etc.

Yea he was a strange guy. Wasn't the only one obsessed with me like that though. Generally I took no notice of them.

You're probably thinking of MTA. TD got him on vid logging from them. He was head warlord at the time. Praying was one thing that probably could have been "dealt" with but logging was really hard to justify since I think even TD frowned on kind of thing at the time.

I don't think any clans apart from maybe RoT had real identity during OSRS. Everyone was kinda the same and had nothing unique to offer. That's often something we talked about, what our unique selling point would be, but we really didn't have anything different to offer than anyone else.

Yeah that reminds me of back when it was sort of considered NH to return? Then at one of the fights what separated Di from the hundreds of people there killing them was not only your members returning but in full rune to chaos dwarfs and trying to keep the fight alive. That shit was insane, I was like how can they be sooooo rich?? Killing a Di member, was awesome, could go buy a h'ween mask or a santa lmao.

I try to think about what the main difference was between the old days and now. Why did I enjoy it more then? Maybe age, maybe it was more new to me, but I came to the conclusion that it was standards{agree/disagree?}. If you ran from Dm's you could be declined from joining a honor clan. Now? You can scam people, join the same clan that you scammed people from 6 months later. I even remember how people like Themario, Xxhotshot x and shit would be at MB, they were the jokes of the clan world because they would pray 1v1 in dhides and a whip, while calling you a bunch of racist shit lol. Eventually that group of people turned into the modern day Rot. That persona of being rebellious, not conforming with the honor code that most clans abided by, really gave them the identity they still have to this date. While at the same time it dragged down the entire community and we got to the point where hacking forums was cool, hacking accounts was acceptable and etc. What's your take on it?
