When I was in EH, I used to hang out with a lot of SE people (Shadow Elves). They convinced me to join and I actually made a topic about wanting to leave EH back then, only to have Ava Ad0re (EH council back then) jump into a channel with me on Ventrilo (she barely talked on Ventrilo) where she convinced me to stay and she reminded me that I introed 3 times to get into EH, so don't let that go to waste. A while later, when we started fighting SE frequently, we became rivals and I realized; "Thank God I stayed". Ended up staying up until the end. ?

    Ava was lowkey legendary.

  2. Hit me up so I can learn some of your vector work. Haven't learned how to do those yet.

Like that, background layers are really well blended with the vector and idk where to find them.

  3. The obvious answer is EH vs DF on a friday night back in April or May or 2009, it was the second or third fight in a row we had beat them and this being an uncapped PRKI really secured our spot briefly as the top clan in the game.

I would have to say that beating SE was my personal favourite though as our rivalary -- however strange -- with SE was extremely heated from start to finish and it felt good to win a decisive fight against them in only 8 hours.

How did we survive watching vids of that quality

also an interesting question - how on earth did we think this quality was acceptable back in the day

So I think the best answer to this is that the majority of videos were uploaded onto

    • Youtube that had limits on the file size (remember that Youtube only allowed a maximum of 9:59 mins and under 100mb back in the day)
    • other file sharing websites that required others to download the file, therefore smaller = better, and
    • recorded with shitty recording programs like Hypercam 2.

Not saying the higher quality didn't exist. Back in those days I did some videos too and they were of a different quality to what was posted earlier.
