It's been a long and challenging process to get this clan off the ground, but it has been fun and absolutely worth it. The idea of Tempest was conceived over three full weeks by the trio of David, Venenatis and myself. With our hunger to lead very much intact, we also saw enough opportunity in the F2P and P2P wilderness that opening a clan wasn't too wild of an idea in 2020. However, just building a new clan from scratch was not good enough. We had to carve out a philosophy.. One which would be shared by the members we would later bring in one by one, over the course of several weeks. We wanted to cater to what we were looking for in a clan.. Something structured, simple and prioritized having fun without the long/daily in-game commitment most clans require nowadays. The majority of our opening memberlist directly reflects that.. 57 veteran clanners that are hungry to have some fun and enjoy the game in their downtime. Our primary focus in-game will be both F2P Wilderness and CWA with the P2P Wilderness supplementing our PVP activity. We have also made a very serious commitment to being community-based, allowing our members to engage with a strong, welcoming community at all hours of the day, in and out of game. We strongly believe an active and healthy community is the backbone to long-term success and overall enjoyment. On a personal level, I'm excited to be back in the chair. Consider my desire to lead and to create a strong culture reignited. I look forward to every single challenge ahead and I will absolutely make the most of it.
