Republicans didn’t oppose the principle of having COVID-19 relief spending. They agreed with Democrats on that. They merely disagreed with the size and scope of the spending. It’s gotten ridiculous. There was a time when our elected officials would’ve refused to pass such relief bills because they would’ve been recognized as unconstitutional and outside the authority of the federal government. Trying to fight it is fruitless and would be far more damaging than just adapting to whatever new environment we find ourselves in. To be perfectly honest, it is quite likely that there would be net benefits, just as we had with the last major bout of global warming that ended the last glacial period of the Ice Age. Do you think by being bullied throughout your life in school/workplace/online has shaped you as a person? And do you feel as if it’s defined you as a person or has it made you feel more introverted and strange as time went on? Was it hard to grow up without any friends and feeling like an outcast?
