As i said this was around 8-10 months into osrs, so 200m was ALOT... i guess they noticed my wealth and wanted it. one day i was in there teamspeak/discord what ever it was with a few officals/members. Then i get a message from what i thought was Sirius on IRC (a really good friend of mine and the only reason i joined VR, Also an Offical). the message said something like 'Support youre Clan by posting on RSB <INSERT PHISHING LINK HERE>' i never noticed but the hacker used her name which was SIrius(+numbers) changing 1 digit ..... without hesitating i clicked it and enter my info. as soon as i pressed enter i new i fucked up. I was updating them live on what i was doing. As soon as i said i can just change my password thats when they DDOS me. i was on a work trip for a few weeks before this and Sirius logged onto my account to borrow a few items although she forgot my PIN so disabled it (which was fine with me) so got unlucky by not having a PIN. you could argue that it could of been anyone that messaged me. but imo it had to be someone inside VR as to use sirius's name to get to me they new we were very close friends. They also defended themselfs (on TS) by saying 'yeah we all got the same message, we get them all the time!' so i messaged a few people (the ones not in TS at the time) and they all said, nope got no messages like that.
