I had a long-term goal to get Blood Torva in 2024, and managed to get it by year end. I sent attempts on/off throughout the year starting near late July. Started with Vardorvis -> Duke -> Whisperer -> Levithan. I would rank the difficulty: Vardorvis > Levi > Duke > Whisperer. Vardorvis - Started with this and ~110+ attempts were across 2 dates in the beginning with diminishing returns; in hindsight -- better to have spaced out. When I finally got it was on the second attempt after a long break of a few weeks. Sub 33% HP of this fight is very hectic. The trick for me was turning sounds off and just relying on visual cues since with sounds on with multiple heads was a bit of information overload and also made my game lag. August 24, 2024 Duke - Spaced out attempts here with only one session with like 30+ attempts on same day. This fight was very relaxed up till enrage (sub 25%) when it became easy to die. I got very lucky in this attempt with no acid on enrage to secure the kill. It is RNG 50/50 if acid spawns or not for you, with 3 and maybe at most 4 rolls during enrage, so it is possible to get lucky every 8-16 attempts. October 13, 2024 Whisperer - I did more research on this one than Vardorvis and Duke. The 5 pillars have 5 possible patterns so if you just write them down on a piece of paper or notepad you can quickly identify which one it is and know where to go next without thinking too much about it. This was one was the easiest one out of the four, but longest fight that required generally no mistakes being made. October 26, 2024 Levithan - People say this one is the hardest. I did initial research on this and practice in regular mode, but then got sidetracked by leagues. I started sending attempts after dragon cup, and once was able to consistently get to enrage was only a matter of time. Practicing the set-up with mithril arrows in regular mode helped save on a lot of attempts most likely. December 24, 2024
