Of all time: Game of Thrones (yes, even with the atrocity of the final season) Still airing: The Last Kingdom At the start of DK, we were headless chickens whenever Derek was dead. No one spoke, no one did anything. We'd just wait for him to return. I wish I was joking. I got fed up and just stepped up one day and it just felt natural after that. I just have a tendency to answer the call of service. I've never really sought out being a caller in any team/clan, it always came about when someone was needed to step up. As long as you guys were going to take it serious, I'd probably help out. Not really. Whenever I need to step away from RS due to IRL obligations, I've never had a problem doing so.

Well, I lasted a total of 13 minutes earlier so I'll take that as a win for now. Rust is a very frustrating game. It's unforgiving. So when you're playing it, especially in the capacity that we were... Emotions were always at an all-time high. He got really emotional over a certain incident and refused to play with us. Then about a week later he went online and raided us with 2 freaks who stole from us (one being a 50 yr old woman and the other being a 16 old asian kid). As for what psychologically motivated him, that's simple. He stopped smoking weed and was always mad. I don't think this is true at all. In fact, the one time we actually set out in plans to keep it going all night and never end, VR dipped out after 10 hours despite what we had done to DI. Poor Lil David whispering DI to death at like 3AM EST. I mean, everyone knew VR was heading toward death. Their leaders had given up, barely any officials left. I don't blame Cera for trying anything to survive. But was pretty embarrassing for them. I would be filled with joy to see rev caves completely removed from the game.

Well, promotions do not happen in DF very often. At least not on OSRS. So when we do promote someone, it's after a lengthy process and discussion. So I've never disagreed on any of our promotions while I've been an official. Probably SV or VR. Well, I had knowledge of their closure before it happened and was told ahead of time that they had plans to join somewhere together. I didn't know it'd end up being AF, but it's not like there were many clans for them to choose from. I mean... Any P2P clan that does multispells shouldn't have a problem doing RSB. It's literally the same thing, just better gear. More offense, more defense. There's definitely a lot of tactics involved in the smaller opts fights like 5v5s/10v10s, but in higher opts I see no reason that it requires clans to need "advice". That said, yes, the gear required is definitely a deterrent. However, "restricted" RSB has been the common form of RSB for some time now, which is DRASTICALLY cheaper than full max gear. Restricted gear is about 150m or so. Full max gear is a bit out of hand with Ely being over 1b now. - ragger jail: if you die in the wilderness and don't at least 100k in loot from your death, you get placed in a room and can't leave said room for 10 minutes or something. this would help pkers and even content creators too probably - roaming wilderness boss (in multi). force clans to chase it down and fight over it. - make protect from mage work properly again (half binds/freezes etc). - do something about the price of crystal weapon seeds - introduce an island north of the wilderness volcano or somewhere north of the map near MB etc, where it's entirely multi, filled with resources, and no level restriction on attacking other players. could lock it behind some sort of quest you have to do in/near the wilderness. - hopefully introduce a way to track kdr with the new clan system so it doesn't have to be done via jap clients i've probably got more ideas, these are just top of my head atm. I'm pretty sure I'd be kept alive somewhere in a black site, after being sentenced in a secret court.

Because it's responsible for the destruction of the entire DF blacklist. I wasn't even in Exo during this you fool I had a mission. I already got bullied out of TFT Yes he is Who else are you going to ask for RS help? Until the day where I just simply don't have enough free time to enjoy it. Or if clan world died before that. Do you really want to give Pownix of all people that kind of credit?

Believe it or not, I do. However, I've been dangerously threatened to not release it. Uh tbh I never really cared about the lying about her age thing (weird, yeah, especially with the e-dating etc), but I never found that it came into play with how Exodus operated or anything. The clan had serious issues far beyond just something like that. Man I can't remember who it was, but I was trying to get some clan to fight us on a certain day and they just wouldn't budge whatsoever. We were adamant about wanting to fight on that day, and when they wouldn't fight on that day, I accepted the fight on another day, and True wasn't happy about it at all. He got pretty mad and basically told me to do whatever I wanted and stormed out of the room (the digital room of an mIRC conversation). I didn't like that and got pretty salty for a bit (when I say a bit I mean for like an hour). As for Murray, well, enough to do this topic. I think it's pretty consistent atm. I don't see it really going up or down, just coasting a long. The Dutch thing is mostly a meme. But a good one. As a man, I can be ignored, I can be destroyed. But as a symbol, I can be incorruptible, I can be everlasting. Some, but not many. I was never punished. It was a publicity stunt. Can't think of anyone off the top of my head, but anyone who has ever spied pretty much.

I'll give you a song instead Hmmm, I don't know if cockiness is something I would agree with. If anything, I feel that we have a tendency of looking down on other clans (not necessarily on a win-lose basis). I think that stems from the very history of the clan, from all the rivalries, crashwars, and all of the other colossal things the clan has dealt with and experienced. A big advantage is flexibility. As an F2P-focused clan, especially on OSRS, you've kind of been forced to rely on other clans to have fights. After all, if no one accepts your fights, you have none. Not unless you want to start a crashwar. But with P2P, there's PKing. There's always the possibility of finding a fight when PKing. I don't think F2P has had that in many, MANY years. A disadvantage would be having to leave a lot of people behind. When a clan does nothing but F2P for 12-13 years, there's kind of an expectation to be had at the point. So we've definitely lost a lot of people over the past 2-3 years who were just unable to make the transition to P2P with us. As well as those who return to the game hoping to F2P with us again. I've been friends with Bob Kelso for over 12 years. If I've learned one thing about him, it's that once he has made his mind up on something, he won't ever budge on it. Never. I've never actually "liked" calling per se. I liked winning and if me calling was necessary to win, I did so. So I don't really miss it, but I'm not exactly glad or anything either. Pretty indifferent. As for fighting in a f2p team, uhh probably not. While there does seem to be some teams going right now, I kind of prefer when teams were a bit more exclusive and organized (forums, application process, etc). I don't really like the idea of just having a Discord of 200 people and massing up 50-60 random people from every clan. It's mostly just a meme. DF currently has 1 Dutch member and he's a doofus so it's very easy to rile him up by flaming Dutch people all the time. Green Lantern (John Stewart version)

Not in any particular order: - Return of the Kings arc in late 2011/early 2012 - EoC (keeping a clan in peak condition during something like that was a challenge in a half) - Winning a 100v100 P2P full out tournament in 2017 despite still being very much an F2P clan - Bearz fight - 24 hour fight vs TT (granted I was there as a clan friend, but hey) I don't think I'm really suitable to answer this one tbh. It was annoying a lot of the time, especially since I had so many ideas and plans to make DK into a real clan and he wanted no part in any of them (too difficult etc). But as I said in a previous post, he still played a major part in the clan world's growth so he was necessary in the scene. In the entire time I was in DK, I had never even heard of ddosing. I don't know if that's something DK got involved with later, but it was nonexistent in my era of DK. I don't think I heard about ddosing until the 2nd crashwar in 2010. DK lowkey actually had a good amount of solid warrers who were dedicated and loyal (during my era anyway). The problem was the leadership. Derek was obsessed with numbers and activity and nothing else. DK could have easily became a proper clan had Derek gone with it. I don't know who was calling in the summer of 2009, that would have been some months after my departure. But our main lineup when I was there (not in order) was Derek, Me, But Kiker, Pikea33, and Valery. Not the best lineup in the world, but it definitely wasn't bad.

Yes she fits in very well. In 2017, clans still believed RoT's bullshit. And one might think that RoT not having as many enemies hitting them in the wilderness is what made them strong, but it isn't. It was their image. In 2017, RoT were seen as cunts, but they weren't seen as the outright creatures they're seen as today. And the biggest impact of that image was recruits. It was a totally normal thing back in 2017 for clanners to just leave their clan and join RoT without burning too many bridges (unless they were DF/VR or something). But today? Who joins RoT? Pures and remnants of rev cave protection CCs. This drastic change in recruitment pool is far more responsible for RoT's decline than any one thing, clan, or person imo. I'm not a serial killer Never minded her as a person whatsoever. She was extremely nice, caring, and generous. But the whole thing with men half her age was weird and her decisions as leader were extremely questionable. I firmly believe she should have never been leader of Exodus, although I don't think the clan would have changed too much if she wasn't.

I have some friends in the clan so I don't outright hate the clan as I do with most clans. But there's definitely some things left to be desired though. Like P2P multispells!! Unsure. In my experience, I've seen just how fragile the path of a clan can be when one or two key people step away. So I think the amount of birthdays Tempest celebrates depends entirely on how many certain officials want to be there for. Of course. Every clan has cliques and can see what they can do if left unchecked (as you well know). DF has had cliques just as every clan has. However I think we've been pretty lucky throughout the years where nothing ever too dramatic came about because of them.

If someone or a group of people with the right names were to start a clan, it could work, yes. But I think for that to happen they'd need to follow a similar recipe as Tempest. I believe that Tempest's biggest reason for its current status as a clan would be that nearly every single official has their own little "pool" of people to recruit (Brian & ex-DI, 2k8 & ex-DF/ex-CR, Tim & ex-Dfall, Vene & ex-TR/ex-VNG, etc etc). I don't think we really have a good relationship with any clan. We keep everyone at arm's length. But the two clans who cause the least headaches dealing with would probably be Wild Might & Revenant. Anyone Dutch

DF vs RSD J Cup 2012. It was the first time I had ever called in a 100v100, let alone be tasked with calling first. It was a huge mental win for me that allowed me to grow as a Warlord and an official for DF in general. Mid 2012 - Mid 2014 was probably my peak condition. DK Derek of course. Honestly, I'm sure every clan has had that one fight where they just had no business winning. That fight, like many should know by now, was the 7 hour Bearz fight. There's no reason why 55 DF should have ever won vs 94 Bearz, but somehow we did.

I can't fathom a day when that would ever happen. We would have never accepted it. But even in some weird reality where it did happen, I think it would have failed very early on. Bureaucracy moves very slowly in DF (such as rank progression) which would have caused some issues for people from VR, as they're used to the complete opposite. I'd delete time-based ranks. Tbh, I can't think of anyone. Everyone I've considered a good friend from over the years I'm either still in contact with or at least know how to get in contact with them. Hide in plain sight We'd probably have a handful more members, but I don't think much would have changed. Modern day DF is a product of the clan world, not anyone in or out of DF. I pretty much answered this in my reply to Bunty above. It honestly hurts my brain trying to decide. There's simply too many to decide from. A top contender that popped into my head immediately would definitely be "a young Chris Farley".

DF's never ending ability to adapt to all situations is unparalleled in my opinion. The only improvement DF needs is finishing our purge of all Dutch members. - adaptability (as said above) - experience (not many clans have the amount of combined years of experience that DF's officials have) - the hunt (nothing sparks fire in the hearts of df members than an exciting rivalry, which we always seem to land ourselves into) - tenacity (i've personally seen df deal with just about every shitty situation this game can produce and nothing has ever done too much damage to be a detriment to df's longevity) As of right now, probably Jelle. Over the past year or so, I don't think there's been anyone who has gone to the levels he's gone to to get certain shit done in the clan. Even without any knowledge on certain things, he'd spend hours and hours learning about things and doing it all by hand. High: our "Return of the Kings" chapter in late 2011/early 2012. Low: Technically EoC. Although that was the case for every clan tbh. Granted we handled ourselves far better through that era than any other clan in my opinion. Rene is the kind of official every leader dreams of having underneath them. He's just super reliable and hardworking. However, he's also a pretty kindhearted guy and I don't believe that he would do well as the sole leader of a clan, especially one like DF with so much history to be responsible for. However, I think he would thrive as someone's co-leader where someone with a bit more aggression in them could help balance out the position of power. I'm pretty proud of the majority of my time as an official in DF. Especially helping transform DF during the "restoration" era in mid to late 2012 when a lot of old DF started to abandon the clan (and RS as a whole) to either just quit RS and move on or play other games. But I've definitely made a lot of mistakes over the years, such as going MIA a couple times and not staying in contact with officials. But overall I feel that I have been a positive addition to DF's longevity.

Yeah but she's going to get real mad by the time she does. 5v5 - some jap single clan or something like Weedblazers or Frontline maybe 10v10 - Adrenaline if they entered 20v20 - DF or Rev 30v30 - DF or Rev 50v50 - Rev I was EXTREMELY poor on RS back then. It got to the point that before school every morning, I'd wake up and do an hour of green dragons or some other money maker so I had enough rune sets for the PK when I got home. Honestly, the ONLY thing I remember about that team was we were out on a PK one night and Tlal called up Sarge Alex18 on the phone and echoed it onto TS (or maybe Vent? idr) and told him to mass up or some shit. Was beyond hilarious.

It's actually @Nancy This is true. JcJack was heavily ddosed by Bloodarrow42 while in Genesis and in DF. After leaving DF to make Bearz (and then having that clan killed by DF), he joined RoT where Bloodarrow was a member. Classic stockholm syndrome. There is actual beef. AF opened and instantly tried to beef with us (thought we'd be an easy target?) by trying to hunt us and hit our PKs, even attempting to put spies into our clan. But they just got shit on at every turn. Continuously have tried to poach our members, even to the point of recruiting a fucking RoT spy into the clan in the process (good job Kyle lol). They also harbored Paisa Man, who scammed a DF member for 200M and had the audacity to ask us to stop camping him. Then recently started crashing us during our beef with VR so we don't kill one of their junior clans. Literal dogs

Can't have a rivalry with a clan when they refuse to come into our timezone. Ironically they all of a sudden became an EST clan the moment we began to beef. They're just braindead and bite off more than they can chew. This has always been the bane of VR. Just like when VR got into the crashwar initially and then all of their officials abandoned the clan. True left DF about 8 months after I returned to RS. I've never disagreed with anyone who has been kicked from DF. Basically anyone Dutch. Rev.

Df was holding VR up on crutches for ages. We were always helping them with something. Giving them small fights while they were slumping, giving them certain intel on stuff, helping them with some of their clan decisions (like what their reqs should be lol..). Hence why they were interested in merging with us in early 2020. Legit on deaths door. And the SECOND that VR gained some traction and pulled a bit better, their mouths began to run. It got amplified by the PvM comp beef (why VR needed to cheat in a friendly PvM comp is beyond me). After that, there were a lot of instances of both clans fucking with each other and it just continued to escalate. VR by far. Coordinating anything with VR back in 2015/2016 was the most hectic shit I've ever dealt with. Every two weeks DF officials would be working with a new set of ranks from VR (the others randomly retiring, being replaced, getting kicked, or w/e). It got to the point where the most reliable official to correspond with from VR was fucking Abkb... Hopefully some good memes.

No real opinion. Some of the pure clan leaders are a bunch of losers for giving in to RoT demands so it was only a matter of time until anti-RoT clans retaliated. Ye like 3 people who were all ex-AF, so it wasn't really shocking. None of them were exactly core members, in fact two of them were kind of crybabies. So no one really cared. Most controversial AMA There was a guy in DF in RS2 who was spying for VR and when caught, tried to claim that a VR member broke into his house and took the screenshots. I wish I was joking and I wish that he was also joking. Without clients and a better meta, there's a good chance we'd fuck around with it. Jaja - A forgotten trivia fact is that Jaja is responsible for starting the crashwar on OSRS. I disliked Jaja for a long time, mostly due to the gear they used. But towards the end of their lifespan (without all the SV freaks), their gear had gotten slightly better and were a solid clan to fight. I very much miss fighting them at altar with DF's EST unit in 2018 for like an hour just mass barraging each other. CT - Dog clan. Spent their entire existence licking the asscheeks of RoT and because of that lost to DF in a 100v100 P2P full out. Not gonna lie, I'm not sure what you're referring to. I know they ended up becoming anti-RoT (against their will) toward the end, so maybe we were looking for fights? Unsure. I don't remember tbh.

Ghjjf is a mysterious dude, made some questionable decisions in DI, but overall seems to be a pretty smart dude. Evizu is a complete monkey. But I guess he knows how to gather up all of his apes since the second he came back all of the people who abandoned VR in their time of need all seemed to magically show back up. So I guess he's good at something (and promoting cheat clients). I've lost count. The only thing that changed was that I had a point to make and I did so with this topic. Nice girl and a good official. Probably too nice. She's a very good worker and helps with a lot of our daily system upkeep. As well as our secret weapon in PvM competitions.

Ye, I heard the same about him from back in the day. I'm basing my post from his stint as ST in like 2013/2014. He's a really cool and funny dude and I liked him a lot, but ye he was pretty washed up at that point. Anyone would be. Both Murray & 2k8 had some great moments in DF, far outweighing any of the negatives. Wasn't hard to outdo Shinobi though. I've never really had a dream team I could think of tbh. There are a few but they're held back by IRL obligations. Aside from that, everyone else lacks experience in the clan or a leadership trait in general. I feel like @Bob Kelso has tried to get me to watch this before I told him to fuck off. I'm not big into cop shows really. I like Bernie. I like a lot of his policies but dislike a few of them as well. He may have not become president, but he's done enough to force the dems to adopt a lot of his policies one way or another. Sooner or later being a "berniecrat" will just mean being a democrat, as it should be.

Ye, he called me a dumb <gamerword> earlier just to cement the idea even more into my brain. Yes We had like 4-5 Fools members join DF during a time when we were trying to inflate our ML a bit. But as you may know, DF has a policy of requiring all members of any country clans or team that DF and our events must be priority. It was no secret that most members of Fools prio'd Fools and other clans allowed their Fools guys to prio Fools over their clans (DI, Ronin, etc). Lovelost was the only official who was really adamant about letting them prio Fools while in DF but it was still being discussed (their FA applications were still pending). Our FA manager at the time put his foot down and declined them on his own and it caused a whole thing over it. Lovelost started having him ddosed and soon as we had gotten evidence of Lovelost being involved, he left the clan. The greatest irony in the entire situation is that literally 2 weeks later Fools themselves banned multiclanning and so those members would have had to leave DF anyway. Out of us three... Hard to say. We all shined in different areas. Lovelost was by far our best hype man. He'd make people laugh, have a good time, and pump them up during fights with his calling. Granted, this sort of calling only really worked in the wilderness. He was a disaster in CWA most of the time (especially the whole compass ordeal). Sem was definitely more consistent out of us. He was always just consistently solid. Never really had really awful moments or really amazing moments. Just always got shit done. But when it came to someone just going crazy and popping the fuck off during a fight, I would say that's where I'd come in. It didn't always and there are plenty of fights I can remember where I just plain out fucking sucked, but during my peak I feel like when I got truly going, we did quite well. Ye any of @david's 16 times in DF AR was a pointless rank, so I would be validating its importance by naming someone or anyone as its "greatest". Some of the ones in RS2 like LDK, LPT, LF, etc were all pretty solid. But the ones on OSRS have definitely been less than desirable from my POV. I could be wrong, but the only incident with DF member's IPs that happened around that time was when Elrond140 had an IP grabber on Team Trinity's forums which had like 15-20 DF members in it at the time. I don't remember any other incident involving IPs. 100%. It speaks volumes that DI stopped fighting us in CWA after this 4-0 fight and quite literally never fought us in CWA again till their closure. I enjoy playing RS outside of events but I've never liked the idea of ironman accounts whatsoever. I prefer making different PvP accounts: maxed alt, maxed med, maxed pure, etc. GTA V

Are you implying that I haven't already? I can't think of a bigger implosion waiting to happen if I tried. Things can change a lot when you build a memberbase of people who actually enjoy playing RS instead of people who only like PvP. Personally feel like we've been seeing the return to pre-covid days for a few months now. Even more so now with mass rollouts of the vaccines.
