After the quest Sins of the Father you can mine shards(pretty afk) and trade it in for untradeable daeyalt essence which gives you 50% more rc exp. If you're some kind of sweaty, EHP super skiller then it's not worth it to mine but if you're a filthy casual like myself that enjoys afking the game and rcing way less, then it's nice.
