Awful PvP systems (or lack thereof), too much PvE focus, and the worst of all: repetitive endgame cycles. People can say RS is epitome of repetition, and they're not wrong, but - there's variety in that repetition. You don't find much variety in some of these big MMOs, sadly. And the ones that you do find it in, have a huge list of other issues. One of the bigger ones: payment models. I don't want a cash shop, nor do I want to buy the games and its expansion packs. Evan 14 Posted September 4, 2020 Share Posted September 4, 2020 A really good 'f2p' mmo is Albion Online. It is very similar to Runescape but with a more driven PvP aspect. Very cool game that I wish RS would adapt to drive P2P and Guilds/Clans more for Runescape.
