Revenant - Member, briefly after leaving SV for the first time. I really can't recall when it was year-wise but probably 2017. Damage Incorporated - Member, 2018 until 2 weeks before DI's closure when I left to start my own clan, but internal SV politics meant that this didn't work out and I ended up re-joining SV until I quit runescape towards the end of the year. Multiple CWA clans such as Clan Europe (Warlord), Ellie Nora's cwa team (Member), Seals (Strategiser), Martians (Leader), and probably more honestly that I can't quite recall. I apologise if any dates are off because it is really difficult to remember specifically, I think more in terms of pvp eras than concrete years. I enjoyed my time in all of these clans and had friends in each, even when I was in Sovereign and they were in the opposite alliance; I don't really care much for clan beef and anyone who knows me from my SV or DI days can probably attest to this. Who do you know in Tempest? I see some familiar DI names but it's been many years since I've played RS so things are still a bit hazy overall, if anyone knows me from the boomer days of clanning be sure to say hello! How did you find/hear about Tempest? Saw the 100 vs 100 against Reign of Terror, was very impressed to see the numbers in what I perceived since my return to runescape to be a dead era of clanning. Are you interested in joining? Potentially, at this moment I'm still weighing things up because my work irl is on-call pretty much until 5pm EST every day of the week so I don't want to be constantly dipping out of events halfway through but it is rare for me to be called past 3pm EST so it could potentially occur. Also I'm just still feeling my way back into runescape so it would be remiss of me to say I want to commit to clanning again so early, but I do want to get a feel for the environment here and get to reconnect with some old people. Brief Introduction Firstly I must clarify something - I am sure that between 2018 and 2022 many of you have seen my account, Incredible, in game with Reign of Terror. I let my fellow ex-Sovereign staff member A1V1 use my account because it is 2.2k total, 99 agility with wilderness elite diary completed and thus way better for pking than his own account. I am now back in sole control of the account: the friends list was wiped and password changed. For the first few weeks I used to get randomly flamed in LMS and in the wilderness because people thought it was A1 but now I think most people can attest to only finding me on the account now. I have no clue about relations between the two clans but I figured it would be worth pre-empting anyone having any misconceptions about me being ex or current RoT because of my account, as I have never been in RoT. If anybody has any leftover beef from the days of SV vs CT or Rev or AF that isn't interpersonal and is just the result of the colour capes we wore in CWA then I would ask you to not bother as we are all too old for this and SV is no longer in existence. That out of the way, for those who weren't clanning back in 2017/8 then I'm pretty sure I'll be a fresh face because as leader of Sovereign is where my name came to be known in the PvP scene. To those people I'm a British guy called Rams who studied law and currently works in Portugal as a lawyer, I love dark crabs as I am front page rank for fishing in osrs and f2p CWA is the best form of pvp to ever exist. Outside of the game I like football, smash ultimate and all things legally oriented. I look forward to hopefully getting to know many of you! I can't attest to other clans around right now but ours recognises that, at the age most of us are, real life obligations will come first and that it will be a very common occurrence to have to miss out on events or leave them early. That being said most of our events tend to be after 5pm est plus everything here is pretty relaxed really. This is also part of what made me want to get to know here, I read the 1 year history post and a line said something to the effect of "we brought together a bunch of clanning veterans" which is most certainly the type of environment I'd want too as people like us who've been doing this for over 5 years now have seen it all and have outgrown the days of playing 30 hours a day ragging your rivals etc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
