Especially at the top level, the bossing combat looks like sweaty StarCraft playing rather than anything RS stood for lol. I play both RS3 and OSRS sporadically and on RS3 still use Revolution (bars copied from RS Wiki) to make combat as low effort as possible. Of course there's also Legacy mode but no-one uses it when OSRS is available. On the other hand, OSRS graphics are old and tired, as evidenced by the public support for the HD plugin. And quest writing has also been sub-par; the grammar has been so poor in stuff like DS2 that even a 4ner like me would've done a better job. SotE was a nice exception to that, though. And let's not even talk about OSRS music. It's there to appeal to nostalgia and that's it. Many of us PvPers don't particularly care about the above, but world-building is paramount for a RPG's success, of which a healthy PvP scene is also dependent.
