No that's not true lol, it actually gets good I'd say personally around the 300ish mark if thats where the chopper arc starts. I think its a masterpiece because the writer is brilliant. Even to the current story arc, there are things that happened in the first couple episodes that are relevant to it and the way he ties in everything is really creative. I enjoyed it a lot cause it was really refreshing to see an anime that wasn't the same cookie cutter type playout every time.
