  1. Lol Kyrie. He couldn't get in the playoffs after his third year in the league until LeBron came back. He's injured a lot, and his time in Boston shows exactly what type of leader he is. Extremely selfish and pretends to be some sort of philosopher. I cringe when people compare him to Iverson. Iverson was on another level, Irving will never reach this level. Also, Durant hides behind burner accounts on Twitter/Instagram, can't take the snake seriously. LeBron will win it again this year. Easy. LeBron is the GOAT.
  2. Well done Tempest. Looked fun, great way to end 2020.

    Happy new year

Happy new year to all! Stay safe people. 2021 and onwards will be good to us all. -- Bonne année à tous! Nous allons avoir une année de fou!
  4. ?‍♀️ I really tried to answer everyone on forums, IRC & Teamspeak whenever I could... I find that crazy I didn't answer you! I should have done more I guess! All good.?
  5. On that note, happy birthday Bitcoin! ฿?
  6. Haha I am not!! I am an engineer that understands (or try to understand) the different technologies out there that provide competitive advantages in whatever industry that is!
  7. I try to get anywhere from 7 hours to 8 hours. I feel that my body functions at its best around 7:30 hours of sleep.
  8. A lot of research basically, Google is your best friend really. You just start getting whatever information you can get, both from the company and the public. Their investor relations website is a good start (most companies have this in 2021). Youtube & Reddit are great for getting insight on how the public perceives the said company. Twitter is quite interesting too. For example, I knew about Tesla's hype long before I invested in them. Took some time before I pulled the trigger. For RE... as I said, RE is a very long game. Make sure you understand the costs before heading down that path... Taxes, down payment, maintenance, etc. With stocks, you can sell them with 0 issue. Can't do that with RE. Still, it's always good to venture into another type of asset (Bitcoin, RE, etc.)
  9. Yes I made 3x or 4x+ for some of those stocks, so far of course. I think by ~2023 some of these investments will be 10x+ from what I originally put in. Many more gains to be had, basically. RE is a long game, I just bought my condo end of last summer so it's way too early to say anything. But I'm confident I've gained ~20% value on it already (as I said, Montreal's RE prices are a bit crazy since COVID), which is massive considering the prices of RE/etc.
  10. Not a doctor, but can confidently say that most people's issues with their body can be treated naturally. Some cases need medication intervention, but none of this cracking bones and shit lmao.
  11. The school system is significantly skewed. You have many boomers in control of the legacy systems surrounding education, and many of them are complacent. Changes are rare, improvements are almost nonexistent. Many professors know their job security is intact as long as their sponsors don't lose interest in their research affiliated with the said college/university. In order to have communities that thrive in society, we need the best of the best to teach us the said material.
  12. I was shocked when I came to these forums and did not see much mention of Bitcoin. Glad to see this now. I learned about Bitcoin around the summer of 2013, thought it was some Reddit circlejerk. It wasn't until 2017 when I finally put some time aside to learn about Bitcoin, and invest in it. One of my top performers since I started investing few years ago. #Bitcoin is here to stay, and it's most likely to reach six digits very soon (after a few crashes in price, of course). I think we all have different risk-tolerance levels, and also are in different [financial] positions in our lives. All I will say is that you can easily beat [by many multiples] ETF/Index Funds' performance if you're willing to put hours and efforts into researching and analyzing different angles of certain investments/stocks. I am not a day trader, so I usually buy assets for the long term. Talking about years, not months. My big winners are Tesla, Netflix, Square, Amazon, Paypal, Apple, Microsoft, and some others. * It's also worth mentioning Real Estate (RE). Ventured into RE this year. Montreal's RE market is going to end up like Toronto & Vancouver very soon!
  13. Not even sure lol. I'm told I speak a bit loud in some public places? Or maybe when I swear a bit too much in public? I don't think it's being an asshole though lol.
  14. Damn so many places... My top destinations (excluding those I visited) in no order are Italy, Japan, Singapore, and France.
  15. For this, I highly advise others interested in goals for the upcoming year to have a Word doc with specific goals listed. It keeps you accountable for those goals and it's always good to reflect on your achievements. That is what I have been doing for the past few years. I have a doc that I updated every ~month, whether or not I have achieved the goal or am in progress with it. I organize goals per category that is important to me. For example: Health: -X goals Wealth: -Y goals etc
  16. $TSLA, $SQ, & Bitcoin Thank me later.
