I believe TCL would struggle more than WL's in the beginning, since WL core staff members such as @Vitor and @D96 were already inserted in the game.

I think we would be more accepted by the New Schools in Arroz, maybe they would even try to join us. I definitely think we would try to capitalize on their members since we would not have a big old school pool to recruit from (if it was Sog coming back would be different tho). The whole quality over numbers and stuff would probably still be around.

But I don't think we would've last much, since most of our core members are not even playing right now and TCL was always reliant on a certain group of people for a long time. I could be wrong tho.

From IRL people to spamming in GE, when Jaggy made de Brozil worlds we used to go in CWA with our junior clan to try and recruit there as well.

We also recruited a lot from smaller clans, Brazilians like making open CC's and posing as clans (Arroz).

We also had many members with shit English so they would never try and join main clans simply because they could not.

2 - From what I heard from most former SoG members, Polaco was the brains of the operation and the clan could not run without him.

3 - Well... since they crashed us both I'll be honest here, ADJ had some funny guys but their actions were just awful. I believe RMD crashed you all when the ADJ folks went full anti WL.

4 - Was not there, @Aiorya go.

5 - At that point we had a few issues within our ranks, I believe Goodwar and Aiorya fixed them pretty quickly.

6 - Feels weird but it is good to be recognized, and knowing I could help you all to reach another milestone in this miserable game.

7 - FBRS was a good forum, RuneBR was shit cause you people 0 balls to moderate it.

Hmm... I had waaay more time for TCL, also I think it was easier since people would take the game more seriously, like gear checks/warns/requirements were way tighter and enforced back in the day.... He was mid calling, just chocking all around and dropping pilles. When all of sudden our Ts goes mute, when I looked at our TS logs I saw @Aiorya banned him, he then goes "ANYONE ELSE PLEASE JUST PICK UP, IF YOU WANT TO TRAIN CALLING GO AHEAD " people start laughing and some one else stepped up to lead the fight.

Question 1 - Bud, we cleared you guys from the wild in more than one occasion, and some of your folks back then would still post stuff claiming it never happened it was bonkers.

Question 2 - That was a shit move from Hugo's part, shame since he was one of the best callers around during that period, and yeah it was not good... but hey HA got competitive after he went there so... some one benefited from that.

Question 3 -  I did not partake in that fight, after I left TCL I focused on having fun with TT.

Most of the Portuguese folks were really top notch players and excellent people. Frank, Doutorsp, Goodwar15, Jerevasio, Johncenafu, Pte_Kis, Rubinhof, Dogax, Falcao and those are just coming from the top of my head, were all great people. It was sooo funny having these guys around. I learned a lot, the funniest one is: when most Portuguese people talk, they say "fuck it!", a lot, like it is nothing.

What did/do you guys think of True as a leader? 

True was one of the best leaders I had on the international scenario, he is always around and talks to all the members whenever possible. Like I said from my passage in DF, the plan of action and its objectives are always clear to the members and that can really unite people behind one goal. He also used to be a pretty good caller back in the day, align that with his leadership skills he is a force to be reckoned in this game.

They wanted WL to back out of the crash war and stop helping the Alliance, they tried to use that Dox to make us switch sides...

I think they are a open CC ? They tried to have beef with a real clan and got smacked.

On an ideal word people should not be using that... if jagex accepts them and people use them, then the field should be plane and all the clans should have access to them.

Rev - Strong clan, top contender and I am glad to see a "new comer" into the F2P word, is currently in my top 3 F2P clans.

RoT - I cannot look at them without taking in consideration what they try and do to the clan world, in my opinion they are a cancer and should be removed from the game.

AF - Strong clan, can pull strong numbers and has good organization, not very strong in the EST time zone but can definitely overpull most of the clans around. 

DF - Good community, nothing but respect for these guys. If they retained most of the members from back in the day, they are probably the best men to men P2P clan around.

SV - Dog shit

VR - I think they have a lot of potential if week prep fights were a thing now a days.

PD - I don't follow them closely.

WL - My boys, our overall activity has fallen but that is probably due to IRL stuff. We Brazilians are volatile in activity at the game and I understand that.

WM - Wild Might? Are they still around?

Fools - Should make a come back, was most definitely the most dominant country clan around.

Di - DI is a landmark in Runescape there are no doubts about that, they dominated back in the day saddened me deeply the fact they sided with ROT back in the day.

Vit - Another strong country clan, don't know why they are not fighting F2P anymore.

CL - Good Aussie clan, had good numbers and organization only good memories from fights against these guys.

 

What do you guys think of pure clans?

I don't follow them closely, but why pures why not train your account to full potential? I cannot wrap my mind around it tbh.

 

What are the main differences between country clans in the past and those of modern day would you say? 

Numbers and time, most people don't have time to be online all the time like in the past, and we do not see new blood joining the ranks.

 

Were there any instances of TCL members doing out of game stuff or other notably bad things that resulted in them either being removed or reprimanded? 

Durateen hacking, scamming and all that.. yeah he got kicked.

... @true is a friend it is only natural he wanted me to join his clan, he invited me on day one. However I was already in WL, and I am not one used to jump ships easily, if I was able to be in both I would.

When I scheduled events as a Council yes, but most of our Warlords did not had that in mind.

Probably indirectly, but in TCL's time most of the members would give the clan priority.

You guys had big IRL gatherings we never did that in such a scale, we also had lots of inner groups and circles. So our community was always like 10 different small groups, coordinated to win fights in runescape, we had members who would walk around on all groups, but some did not really talked to each other.

Diegom being kicked for bullying another kid LOL, a bunch of members were doing it but he was the main focus at the time.

We liked DF,RSD, FOOLS, 2M, TT, CORR, FOOLS, FSK we always had good relationship with all these clans. we had some small beef with CR, EOS and VR (Hugo).

Do you consider language would be a barrier to actually create a Hispanic/brazilian clan? It could happen if the pk leaders used English, if you play runescape you should understand English, but I don't see anyone trying that effort anytime soon.

Wagnerrafael was a spy on TCL, and he was so good at it we almost made him staff.

Our community was a little closed and we would work our members pretty hard on activity and performance, we also had a couple of toxic members that could rub some people the wrong way.

We had big goals and the best callers of the era, so people would come to join a winning project.

I think we would be lined up with the alliance, helping to bury the ROT remains whenever possible and providing good clean fights to the rest of the clans around.

What clans did you respect the most? The least? Back in the day, RSD,BK,DF,TT... The least I would say Poison, PH, ROT.

What is your best *personal* accomplishment in TCL? Survive and triage the mass joining we had from GD back in 2011, making sure only the best of them joined our ranks contributed directly to maintaining and also improving TCL quality back in the day.

Who are some great regular TCL members that did not get a chance to be ranked?  Jockerboy and Dtf_Drag were both great members, and I would have them in our ranks however we already had a big staff at the time they were around.

I would not have "bought" a JR clan, I would have made one from scratch that reported to our staff instead of having its own staff and leadership.

It was a good experience for sure, had been a while I did not had a fight. Even tho it was not fun when they squatted on GDZ like the garbage they are and just mass snipped. But again, it was an uncapped it was a shit tactic but was a tactic nonetheless.

My fiancé hates the fact that I have to participate in meetings and talk stuff about the game late at night, she is not very big on games tbh.

Me personally, hated the whole brainwashing you did with your members back in the day, I mean... you guys would roll from MG, to GDZ then to Maze then fishing spot, and still some of your members would think you were doing great at the fight. Now a days I don't see that occurring, if we do bad we have honest down to earth analyses of what went wrong and why. Members usually know why we shat the bad.

No problem Fluke, I understand you are just doing your job LOL.

I would say TT had a top notch organization and community, I could not have choose a better retirement home to end my RS2 days. The Leadership seemed stable and they were always joking around, also Plaffy was a hell of a caller I really enjoyed all of our fights. TT had similar mindsets to TCL so that made me really comfortable when joining.

At this point in time, there is just not enough Portuguese/Brazilians playing this game to have 2 good clans, it would be a waste to try it. Maybe if we had a surge in numbers and a big come back of old ley players it would be feasible.

Give me your thoughts then & now on:

 

-Wilderland - Then, they were our biggest rivals, after we (TCL) reached a good level of organization and warring skills, most of their members did not had the will to go the extra mile and improve to follow us to that next level. By that I mean grind CWA against hardened clans, analyze it and improve. Now a days WL is the last Brazilian clan alive, most of the former TCL joined their project of one united Brazilian clan, it is not like the legends household but they make an effort to accommodate us and I've made good friends in there.

-Hell Army - Then After 2009 they rose to be a big contender, they had the numbers but lacked quality and discipline. Now I would say if runescape 2 had a few more good years in it, they would have been the next top #2 if Hugo was calling at his prime. They were not big on public relations with other clans as well always sneaking in a crash war whenever they could.

-MMA - Then, Their leadership lacked ambition, they had a good quality and in 2008 could tangle with any other Brazilian clan in even numbers, however their lack of ambition made good members on their end leave (that gave us Armorhelmet & @Lemaster for instance), Now I think they were just comfortable and doing their own thing playing DOTA.

-MB - Then they had good organization & lacked numbers, heard they had a good caller but never checked out myself. Now I believe they have produced some good members that are in WL.

What were your thoughts on your time in DF? Thoughts on current day DF?

I really liked DF's, good community IRC was very active and we were always talking, TS was also active, solid leadership and even in the crashwar all the members understood the plan of action.
I also liked DF's positioning against ROT, and never engaging in out of game tactics such as DOX or DDOS. Right now I cannot tell, I still wonder why they wont engage in F2P again since they were always really strong, It would benefit the scenario greatly if DF was around fighting in rune again.
