All the Gower brothers, including Ian, of course deserve credit. Paul for a lot of the lore, creating iconic places like the Lumbridge Castle etc. I named Andrew specifically as the initial creator of the game and the founder of Jagex, without whom our journeys would never have happened. I have recently been thinking of how a lot of RS's clunky charm comes from it originating as a start-up like this. The main area of the game is largely unchanged from 2001 when it was drawn up by the Gowers. It has given the game a very different identity than when a corporate behemoth like Blizzard creates a game like WoW.

Yea, on OSRS I've basically been logging in to do bird houses whenever I remember (can add herb runs to that if you have time), and daily battlestaves and ~weekly Miscellania. There's probably stuff I'm missing that'd be worth doing

Just doing various dailies for the past 4 years got me most of the way there. Gives so much free xp if you just log in every day and do the challenges, use keys etc. The 120 skills were tedious though

I thought everyone already knew this about Biden's mental acuity, but are just supporting him because of the policy differences. IMO neither of the old men should have (been allowed to) run. I don't know what Repubs are seeing in Trump either, he's a proven liar at this point and only in it to enrich/empower himself and his fellow billionaires. The only reason to support him is if you only care about being a social conservative (pro-life, pro-white-Christian, etc.) and don't care that outside of that he will just make decisions that hurt 99% of voters. Sadly, a lot of people are hurting and get chiefly motivated by "liberal tears" instead of making life better for everyone, aka. "I'm suffering so my enemies must suffer harder." There's a nice example of something similar to this situation in Pennsylvania, where John Fetterman won the U.S. Senate election despite miserably bombing the debate against Dr. Oz due to his auditory processing disorder. Some liked him for his other qualities, others just voted party instead of person. Something much bigger would need to happen for it to sway the election. Too many of the voters are set too strongly on their opinions. If Trump wins, he was going to win without this, and vice versa.

Hi! You've been a familiar name since 2001–2002, basically. I faintly remember this old crappy Flash RS animation of you and leaders of other fansites duking it out, haha. 1. How did coexisting with RuneHQ, Tip.it, Sal's etc. feel on the zero-sum rivalry vs. complementarity spectrum? 2. Did RS Wiki make the right move leaving Fandom (ex. Wikia) and becoming independent, and should other wikias follow their example? 3. What was/were your favorite aspect(s) about RS when you still played it? 4. Is there any kind of magic/feeling you feel that was lost from RS after the early years – or was it just the feeling of initial discovery that was never going to be permanent? 5. What should a university graduate do to prepare for AI obsoleting so many jobs? (I'm a chem. eng. PhD student, but you can generalize) 6 (Bonus Q).
