£Alorus 170 Posted November 20, 2023 Share Posted November 20, 2023 Good topic I remember it very well, nobody wanted this update, the community made it clear, there were riots, massive forum topics and their excuse was that they couldnt make new content with the existing combat system which thanks to old school we know its bullshit In terms of the clan world it ended the 2012 crashwar which included every major clan besides Runescape Dinasty and Divine Forces I kept playing for the cwa wars until osrs came out and have never played that game again besides logging in a few times over the years to see what it looks like Definetly the worst update ever but i think osrs is much better now because of the team thats working on it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Isndar 227 Posted November 20, 2023 Share Posted November 20, 2023 I remember I pleaded Jagex to make a separate server for EOC instead of putting it into the main game but their excuse was that they do not want the server population to be split into 2 servers (RSHD/RS3EOC)....look where we are now rofl, we got RS3 EOC and then a year later, a separate server OSRS...2 separate servers. If they listened to me, we would've been still playing RSHD and newer players would play and enjoy RS3/EOC But I'm somehow glad this happened because we get to enjoy OSRS and look where we are now 10 years later and still playing OSRS.
