Brighter shores

With the release of Andrew Gower's new mmo, Brighter Shores, a large amount of big name youtubers/streamers are playing it pretty regularly. I myself have been putting work in on the game. I ask, what are your opinions/ how did you receive it?

 

My opinion is it is a grindy relaxing game i can play while doing agility to make my agility grind go much easier, not to mention i can do passive training while at work or asleep so i think this game is really fun.

 

included are my stats since release on wednesday. Lvl cap is 500 on each skill LOL.

in development it seemed maybe worth playing but havent even wanted to try it since it came out based on what ive seen

Personally haven't had time to check it out, but I might.

 

It does look a bit bland/generic to me.

 

Are the bigger streamers (like b0aty) getting paid to stream it?

Content creators will play it for content, and then the game will eventually die leaving a very tiny dedicated fanbase (think RSC)

Played it a bit on launch day - seems like it could do with a bit more development time and fine tuning. Bones are there though for a pretty good game, had a few mates sink some time into it already.

The 'rooms' thing put me off at first but it not even noticeable once you get going.
