What made you start clanning?

I know we all didn’t start playing RuneScape to just clan. So how did you get recruited into the clanning scene? 
 

I enjoyed pking and was good at it and had some dude come up to me in edge and asked if I was in a clan. I had no idea what that even was but it seemed intriguing. After one event I was hooked and has led to me coming back to the game multiple times.

I was in Estonian clanning scene by really meeting a guy at Rimmington mines and he invited me to join lmao 

 

To international scene I got then through runescapecommunity forums and finding cool clans there and eventually joining THE' clan in summer of 2005.

I got recruited into TDS (The Dark Syde) by a friend when they were trying to expand to join the Alliance. That was my first taste of real clanning and well the rest is history.

It's been too long.. I can't remember how I was recruited tbh. Probly Wallyballin or Red animal66 spaming somewhere to join there clan (Kissing the Shadows) and I was wondering what it was. I assume that's how it went XD Really can't remember.

irl friend of mine got a few of us together to pk fairly often, we'd get stomped by bigger groups and from there I got involved into the clan world by looking up forums and stuff

In OSRS I was F2P tribriding at RR and met old pre-eoc friend of mine pking with team (CP). RR scene hooked me to game and gave me motivation to max cmb, later on I joined various CWA teams-->TR--->TE 🙂

I don't actually remember. Was in a small group/clan in 2006 but I can't think of how I was introduced.

In 2007 I remember joining Knights of Order due to two people I met in the game randomly, one while rcing air runes (lol), he was a really nice guy. The other was either when I was mining gold in Rimmington or while I was training combat on ice giants. The 2nd guy invited me to attend a clan event happening at gdz and I was dirt poor at the time and terrified of the idea. Still went up there though and managed to somehow get accepted.

Only ever really pked then jagex killed the wildy so went to clan wars world and hopped around ccs etc meeting people there

 

Friend got me into rsps and only pked on those then met people and joined teams/clans with friends for action and fun

 

Since osrs came out I do not clan anymore lol

I stumbled into the clan scene by looking up guides on runehq and accidentally opening their forums to a brand new world I didn't know existed. Scraped my bank to afford a rune set and dove into 'The' Futures head first

I started rs and joined bk because a bunch of my irl friends in school got me into it. 3 of us are the original 2k to play rs. Later on they joined bk and brought me there I think was April 2001 I still have the email lol

I was feeling lonely and I find a guy recruting ppl in Varrock so we started chatting and I joined his clan.

 

After fighting I was really impressed by the organization and the "modus operandi" . Never looked back
