Recently, we've heard a lot of chit chat from a certain GMT based P2P PK team about us being a F2P only clan... While we do own the F2P wilderness (and that's undisputed), we here at Tempest found it extremely weird that a P2P PK team that prides themselves on 12-man pull GMT trips has a "golden rule". What is this golden rule you may ask? "Don't step above that 30 line!" No surprise we're talking about 'golden' things around Murray 1991, the man loves the golden showers after all (Murray the PVMin' Piss Drinker). Tempest may be a top F2P clan but we also run the P2P wilderness as well - not only that, but we don't have some silly Golden Rule where we fear the wilderness above Lvl 30 wild. This was case and point today, where we had our usual unit PKing out at Chaos Ele, Scorpio, and Bear. Tempest vs Latin Unit While out getting some fat stacks, we got word that Latin Unit were out in large numbers. Being a very active and very large clan, we quickly poked TS and massed up 25 and went to hit them. Latin Unit had close to 60 and so outnumbered us by over double. We knew we'd have to use our elite p2p skills to beat them in this spur battle. We managed to catch them split in two, with a huge clump just outside of the cave entrance before the rest of them rushed in from lava gap. As they rushed in from gap, they focused piles on our two best tanks while picked off their mages one by one. As they pushed towards cave entrance and further southeast, we split into have to get as many of their clan killed as possible. We caught many in clumps and returned found we were much better returners in much better gear. After a solid 10 minutes of fighting outnumbered, the tide started to turn and we had clearly more in game. We chased them around before they stopped returning. We stood outside of the cave and asked them to come back. Their scout said they were done and we took the W and banked our lootations.
