No, Runescape is done for me now, the Corruption reunion trip we had a few weeks ago was great fun but the game just isn't the same. Just here for the nostalgia and talking to people. Brief Introduction I'm Jay, 26, British and work in cyber security. I like lifting weights, watching football and most things that men my age do. There's not much else really worth saying here lol. Some of you might remember me from the clan world and CoR and others may have seen me knocking about in the discord. Interesting to read. Two things that I wish was that were around when I took over in Corruption were: 1) the old attitudes and egos still being around. Runescape and fights meant something. It was kept in game and you actually wanted to fight these clans. Towards the end it was too much real life attacking and less runescape. 2) robtokill still being around. I feel like some of the new guard of leaders were a bit soft until Code and myself got into senior leadership positions but it was hard to sway some of the old people. Rob had the attitude that we needed to help us.

I think I was part of every clan that I wanted to be, my only regrets are that I didn't join Dark Ascension sooner and then the same thing with joining Corruption - that I didn't join sooner.

People also forget during the summer of 2010 (I think) we were basically #1 for about 3-4 months too. The only reason people never classed us as the true #1 was because we never beat RSD in an uncapped and that was simply because they refused to fight us. We beat every other clan VR, EoS etc. We had like 130 people to a week prep and absolutely wiped EoS out in an hour, also we were getting like 90/100 to a few hours prep.

Do you remember organising the random fight with Corruption? It was some weird range war at the wizards tower lol Also I remember having a "meeting" with some other top clans officials to discuss clanning. It seems like these meetings happened a few times and not really much came of them - is this something that was down to others at Jagex blocking suggestions?

2 fights spring to my mind 1) Beating DF after 16 1/2 hours with about 65 people left. It was like 12 the next day and the fight was ridiculous at this point, my mum shouted me for dinner soon and Applerune/Code just said to me "Jay we need to end this" and some like next gear kicked in and I absolutely wiped about 40-50 DF on the map in the space of about 5 minutes. 2) Beating VR on their birthday. We had an insane lineup leading for CoR at the time - me, conditions21, magicarrow, mage boy and some solid backups. We did some ridiculous tactics because VR wouldn't end like splitting into 2 piles, forcing them into the gdz penis etc.

Oli from EOS - is probably the most consistent and best caller I've come across Conditions21 - was probably the best on his day, his moments of magic were great. He would surpass Oli but he was quiet too much and couldn't do what what he did consistently. Mage boy 500 - No one will probably ever mention or remember him but on his day Dave was a great caller Andy4309 - back in his time he was probably the GOAT I've also heard battleneo was really good
