Dear Tempest,

I want to take this opportunity to address the recent events and offer a sincere and heartfelt apology for not showing up to our clan fight. This is not an easy letter to write, but I owe it to each and every one of you to take responsibility for my actions—or, in this case, my absence.

To begin with, let me say that I deeply regret letting you all down during such a significant moment for our clan. I know how much time, effort, and strategy went into preparing for this fight. The countless hours spent training, gathering resources, and planning were not just about achieving victory but about fostering camaraderie and demonstrating the strength of our team. I failed to contribute when it mattered most, and for that, I am truly sorry.

Acknowledging My Mistake

I fully understand the gravity of my absence. OSRS is more than just a game for us; it is a shared passion, a way to connect, and a community that thrives on mutual support and dedication. By not showing up, I disrupted the balance of our team, leaving you all to face our opponents without the full strength of our roster.

Whether it was due to miscommunication, poor time management, or simply a lack of foresight on my part, the reasons for my absence pale in comparison to the impact it had on our team. I want to assure you that my intention was never to disrespect the clan or diminish the importance of the fight.

Why It Matters to Me

Being a part of this clan has been a privilege. The bonds we’ve built through countless raids, PK trips, and castle wars have meant more to me than words can express. Our clan isn’t just a group of players—it’s a family. Missing the fight wasn’t just a logistical error; it was a breach of trust and a failure to uphold my commitment to this family.

I’ve always admired the dedication and passion each of you brings to the game. You inspire me to become a better player and a better teammate. That’s why this failure hits especially hard. I let down not just myself, but all of you who were counting on me to stand by your side during the fight.

The Impact of My Absence

I understand that my absence may have cost us more than just a potential victory. It may have affected our morale, our standing as a clan, and the trust we have in one another. Every member plays a vital role in our success, and by not being there, I forced others to pick up the slack and face challenges they shouldn’t have had to endure alone.

I also realize that for many of you, this fight was more than just a chance to prove our skills—it was a symbol of our unity and strength as a team. Missing it meant missing an opportunity to contribute to something much greater than myself, and that is a regret I will carry with me.

Steps I Will Take to Make Amends

Words alone are not enough to repair the damage I’ve caused. Therefore, I want to outline the steps I will take to make amends and ensure that this does not happen again:

Improved Communication: I will be more proactive in communicating my availability and any potential issues that might prevent me from participating in future events. This includes setting clear reminders and checking in with the team regularly.

Accountability: I will accept any consequences the clan deems appropriate, whether that involves additional responsibilities, probation within the group, or otherwise.

Recommitment: I am fully committed to proving my dedication to the clan through consistent participation, whether in events, practice sessions, or everyday activities.

Compensating for My Absence: To help make up for missing the fight, I am willing to take on additional tasks, such as farming resources, funding clan supplies, or organizing future events.

Personal Growth: I will reflect on what led to my absence and work to improve my time management and prioritization skills. This is not just about the game—it’s about becoming a more reliable and dependable individual.

My Commitment to You

To everyone in Tempest, I want to say this: I value our community more than I can express. You have my word that I will do everything in my power to regain your trust and prove that I am a dependable teammate who takes our shared goals seriously.

I know that apologies can sometimes feel hollow, especially when they come after the fact. But I want you to know that my regret is genuine, and my commitment to making things right is unwavering.

As we move forward, I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me for this mistake. I believe in the strength and resilience of our clan, and I am confident that we can overcome this setback together.

Conclusion

In closing, I want to thank you all for your patience, understanding, and dedication to our team. Being part of Tempest has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my OSRS journey, and I am committed to doing my part to ensure that we continue to thrive as a community.

From the bottom of my heart, I apologize for my absence during the fight and for any hardship it may have caused. I am determined to learn from this experience and to be a better teammate moving forward. Thank you for giving me the chance to make amends and for being the incredible group of players that you are.

Sincerely,
Wee Man
