Boxing doesn't benefit the way MMA does under one mainstream org, but instead is split up into 4 (technically more than 4, but those are the main ones). Boxing also suffers from over a century of involvement of organized crime and other forms of corruption. Even to this day all of the top ranked fighters have such huge inflated records because of cans and pad fights. So, UFC/MMA is better. But in a perfect world, Boxing would be far better.
