I appreciated that, as mentioned at various points in this thread, I have a lot of respect for @Ssj so that means a lot.

 

I actually reached out to you before I reached out to him.

 

There were many influences I've had over the years but I'll always go back to Bl4z1ng from Collision. We met in-game just after the wilderness was removed at BH bank and I had remembered him from Zybez. We actually talked in-game for hours about what it takes to lead a clan. What it meant to lead by example, empowering officials and how the small things were the big things, like how being the first person to mass was more important than I had realized. I also took a lot of inspiration from traditional sports, especially how every competitive organization needs to have some kind of culture established and abided by.

 

It happens, people change over time. In specific to Casey, I'm sure if he got his chance if he stuck around, but declining him was the right call.

I think on your last AMA and another thread about regrets, you said something about wishing you'd never joined DF. I think it's reasonable to say that if you hadn't however, you probably would have never met a lot of the people you did and had a lot of the experiences you did (for better or worse), there'd perhaps be no Tempest and who knows what else would be different. Do you actually regret ending up with Df vs. another clan ?

 

Alternatively, how different do you think things would be if you had chosen a different clan?

 

Do you think some of the DF members being more hostile to you since Tempest opened is because you used to be such a large part of DF and essentially "moved on" without some of the people you'd left in DF?

 

What is the story between DF / Renegades beef? Seemed like even Frank made a fair amount of fun of Renegades despite you guys being good friends. Was the beef at all related to you being in Renegades?

 

What'd you do on RS3 when you said you got addicted to playing as opposed to joining CT? Doesn't seem like they have a very active PvP/clanning community.

What do you think of CWA teams? It feels like at least for the past several years, even though some have had pretty good members and ranks, they've kind of fizzled out especially because so many of the members end up being in other clans which end up fighting each other anyways. Do you think they'll ever make a true comeback or will they kind of just remain a mixture of members from several different clans that occasionally get together to have a fight?

 

On your last AMA you said your greatest fear was failure. I think it's reasonable to state at this point that with Tempest, you've certainly not failed. Do you still have this fear in regards to Tempest/RS?

My favorite moment is hard to pin down, but I think the most meaningful was the first fight we really fought ROT and nobody disconnected after the fight for 10min. That's when I really knew we had something special and the members we here were worth all the time and effort we were putting in. It was a very eerie moment. The atmosphere was phenomenal.

 

Not a lot has changed since a few months after Tempest started. I'd definitely say we are far more capable than most expected.

 

Current DF is good at what they're doing. It's not for everyone, including me, and they wear their emotions of their sleeve a bit too much. I think they're very different than my iteration of DF, just like my iteration was different than the previous. Nothing wrong with that.

 

VR seems to have lost the steam from Evizu's return and the BBU mass join.

 

If there's a Jagex Cup, I want to win it. I'm literally 0-3 in three straight finals and lost to the eventual runner-up three other times.

During your time in DF as an official (non leader) was there anyone removed you didn't really agree with on the reasoning? Was there anyone you felt should've been removed, but it never happened (I think in a previous post on this thread you mentioned some guys who spied for RSD you found proof of, so maybe anyone else)? 

 

When you were leader, was there anyone you had to kick/remove you felt bad about or didn't really want to do so? Why were they removed?
