≈Vanuckle 2,136 Posted April 11, 2022 Share Posted April 11, 2022 Tempest vs Reign of Terror After recently feasting on mini P2P teams like Sanity, Divine Forces, and Wilderness Guardians, we were itching to skip back to the F2P playground to engage in some schoolyard scraps with any clan who could match us. As usual, only clan who was interested in catching these hands was RoT and so we set the time for Monday and began our prep. Day of the action came about as usual hit about 90+ on TS as we walked up to fight Reign of Terror (we're starting to realize why clans like Revenant believed they had to cancel against us all those weeks ago). We decided to have the fight at Red Dragon Gate and so rushed in with our seamen spraying all of RoT members -- an equally high level of testosterone and sweat filling up each of our gaming chairs. Fought for about 20 minutes before the mid sized clans got jealous and wanted in on the action. Pulling 30 will do that to you. In any case, we continued the fight, undisturbed by the small number of arrows that were making no impact on the fight itself. We didn't even bother chasing them on the outskirts of the fight -- no need, as their numbers were so low and our asses are so fat it'd be wasted effort to get up and swat them away like flies. While the battle itself was neck and neck, and spam towers crushed high off the screen, we decided to test a little theory. It was our guess that by sending our alts and a few good men to rush into Rev's entire pull, we could clear them off to single strip. That's exactly what happened. We literally rushed into Rev on our second runelite windows and that was enough to scare them all the way to single strip, on the complete wrong side of the wilderness. Why we howled in laughter at how easy it was to chase them off, we knew they'd be raging internally. With recent reports of Scaper getting bullied and being forced to kick members, we knew that getting beat by 20 Tempest alts while we were busy fighting ROT on mains would just made them all the more unsettled. In an attempt to turn the tables, Rev combined forces with DF members and BC members in an attempt to bolster their pull to have a larger impact on the fight. Funny -- I thought DF hated F2P! I guess this proves that they were very upset after the beatdown we gave them this weekend... By this time, we had already logged the alts as it was clear they weren't going to leave single strip. Rev + BC + DF continued to literally try to rush in to get spams (without actually doing dps) before running out as we picked them off in the pile one by one. After almost 2 hrs of fighting, we said our GF to ROT before pulling a little social experiment and seeing if we could get Rev down to single.
