Pietru 1,231
It will eventually become like twitch, no way they profit lol 1 Quote Tempest Old School ~ Dear You ~

They allow far more explicit content than Twitch or Youtube does which means less advertisers lining up to market on their platform. I assume the plan is to get people on the platform first and then find a better way to monetize, or sell it off to a bigger company. All that said, I haven't watched any streams in years so couldn't really care less how any of the platforms go tbh I think it's more to get a bunch of people on the site then cram stake.com (the parent company) down everyone's throat and get a bunch of idiots addicted
Ace 632
I don't know if it'll actually die. It could just exist in twitch's shadow. Quote Spoiler

@Brian 2,802
I only watch one or two Runescape streamers so don't know enough about the overall picture in terms of people moving over to Kick from Twitch. There's no reason both can't co-exist. Obviously Kick doesn't have the same level of funding as Twitch, but it's not like it's some guy running it out of his bedroom. Stake provides plenty of funding and doesn't really need to make money out of Kick. I'd guess their goal will be to get people into the gambling side of the operation since there's serious money to be made there. Streamers who have small but dedicated audiences probably shouldn't switch over if they're trying to build. Big team guys like Oda can get away with it.

But Kick has alot of work to do to become like real challenger for twitch, right now its just escape place for Casino rats who stream on shitty sites not allowed on twitch or thots advertising Onlyfans. @Brian this fella talking like he aint subbed to like 20 different streamers at kick lol. 1

Lander 150
Dont think kick can compete against twitch. The 5% will rise eventually if kick gets bigger. They need to get money off that business also
