You aren't very wrong about what you mentioned. I did frustrate many people in EH, including yourself. I even remember that due to one of your elaborated posts on one of my intros, you made sure I was declined and I hated you for it at the time. You were protecting your clan from an eventual scumbag entering it, and I would've done the same thing as you. What I felt about you then is that you had a hard time letting go, even after I got in and proved my quality and committment to the clan, which was very frustrating at the time. I saw you as an arrogant individual that people liked. What I liked most about you is the influence you had on our members. You had a presence during fights which motivated us multiple times to turn fights around and actually win them.

I do believe that if I were of similar age, I would have acted differently, therefore, our relationship would have been a lot more friendlier and peaceful. ❤️ @Xero

As I said, it's been nice to see the more mature individual you've grown into.  I can safely say the past is in the past, at least for me.  I hold no animosity for things that were said and attitudes from 11+ years ago.  I've mellowed a bit in my old(er) age.

  2. Thanks for doing this.

When our time in EH overlapped I found you incredibly frustrating, to say the least.  You yourself have admitted that you were very young and didn't understand the perspectives of a lot of the clan leadership due to the age disparity, etc.  I know that I myself have a very short tolerance for stupidity/ignorance/obnoxiousness/immaturity.  Not that they're all the same, but they have the same effect on me.  This contributed, in large part, to why we didn't get along.  Do you think if you were older when you were in the clan, or if I hadn't quit in 2009 when I did, that we might have had a better understanding of each other and a more positive relationship?  My recollection of our interaction(s) is not a positive one at all, so it's interesting to see your growth and the figure you became in multiple clans over the years, and how you carry yourself in life now.  There is no denying the passion that you had for EH and what EH stood for, but so often I felt your actions were in conflict with the ideals of what EH was.

  3. Medium Rare/Medium for me.  I grew up in a house where everything was cooked well done, especially steak.  So it was like eating shoe leather.  I think this is where my constant need to put ketchup on everything came from, because it was one way to choke down overcooked meat.

  4. I want to start off by saying thank you to @true and Tempest as a whole for providing the venue to conduct this AMA.  I've always read threads like this but never thought I would actually be answering one.  This has been a remarkably positive experience and a refreshing nostalgia trip going through the history of Eternal Honour, our humble beginnings, how we got to where we did and how things ended.  I am thoroughly grateful for the opportunity to participate alongside @3lite, @Vanuckle and @Grug.  It has also been great to see so many old names pop in for this.  Lastly, thank you to everyone for the great questions.  If anyone gets the opportunity to do one of these, I highly recommend it.  It's a blast!  If there are any questions that someone feels like they didn't get a satisfactory answer to, or something you forgot to ask, you can always find me in Discord.

    Regards,

    @all,

Who were some people that you mentored, or were friends with and saw potential in, and where did they end up in the clan world?

I was a Future Knight mentor in EH before I became a Commander.  I mentored a lot of members coming in.  The biggest person I took under my wing though was not part of that program and that was Slaughter.  I saw a ton of potential in him and tried to make sure he had the right tools in place to realize his potential and positioned him for success.  I tried to help him grow and encourage his confidence whenever possible.  I would like to think it worked.

I guess your wording for the question would be more appropriate.

    What happened with Striker 36?

Also, were there any well known individuals in EH who spied for other clans?

@3lite may be better able to clarify details.  Striker 36 was a Commander (PK Leader) in EH, one of the original ones.  He was demoted, then left.  3lite could clarify why.

I do not recall any well known individuals who spied.  Let alone any who spied willingly.  (Compromised forum accts were always a risk).

You guys obviously made the idea to close down instead of handing over leadership, however sometimes there's a 3rd option which is essentially closing/merging into another clan. Did you guys ever consider this? Would you have considered it? What clan if any do you think it would have been reasonable to try this with? Do you think it would have worked out in the long run?

Is there anyone you regret giving a rank to ? Why?

EH actually transitioned leadership a number of times.  When we first opened, the Grand Officers were Broski, Lord Grug, Ommoht and Pt37.  Other Grand Officers in EH's history include DarkPaladin9, 3lite and Islamia.  For it not to be transitioned means that the leadership at the time did not think there were any candidates ready to take that step.  Vengeance was a clan formed after EH closed and leadership encouraged people to join Vengeance.  I believe this was Nullusion's clan.  A lot of members went their own way, a good portion to RSD if memory serves correctly.

If I understand your question right, you were basically asking if EH closed and more or less "gifted" their memberbase to another clan who would it be?  I wasn't there but I doubt that's something that would have been considered.  I would not have considered it.

There are a couple of ranks that flamed out in a poor fashion, Striker 36 being one of them, but they were all selected for a reason.

What country clan did you respect the most?

Honestly, I was never on bad terms with a country clan, I found all of them to be good to work with.  The only challenge really was communicating on off-hours to plan fights for timezone issues.  But the one I respected the most?  This would probably have to be Red Devil Clan (RDC).  I just interacted well and got along well with Dubbel Drank and so many of their members.
