  1. I'm a sucker for Nostalgia but 2006-2007 was some of the best F2P fights I think I'd ever been apart of. Clan chat maybe my favorite update for the clan world? They haven't really done many things for clans and that is unfortunately why things got so stale IMO. Least favorite was removing of the original wilderness, far and above but it also kind of ties into point one, not really making any updates for the clan world was the problem. Hard to keep a community thriving when the game creators don't really see the value in it.
  2. $17,000 over the span of 3 and a half months. Profash made significantly more (he also got a cut of everything I and the 3rd individual got). GP was still going for roughly $1 a mil at a the time and we wouldn't DDoS anyone for under 1 bil as to not scare off people / potentially give away what we were doing. I actually lost 1 incredibly big stake (almost 3 bil) to someone who knew what we were doing and had someone else logged into the RSN so we ddosed the wrong person and the way we did it we'd lose 2 hits to start the stake so if they didn't actually DC we were kind of fucked
  3. The community - AG1 was a community unlike any other, we weren't "structured" like most clans, we had our ranks and officials but really AG1 consisted of 2 major groups of people that didn't really like one another that well. There was a big power struggtle between Itchey and 100fightmage as they were both the "figure heads" for their individual group of friends. That is quite a longer story that isn't relevant to the question at hand! AG1 was massively unorganized chaos but we made it work the best way to describe the feeling of AG1 was like we were just out Pking as a group of friends 24/7, never worried about anything. Clans would team up and hit us and we just didn't give a fuck, we had the quality, #'s and could do anything we wanted within the confines of the game to win (DDosing wasn't a thing then). AG2 was a lot of fun in it's own right but I was now the "leader" and as a leader I had to make shitty decisions and was responsible for diplomacy, promotions etc... all shit I never really was a big fan of. I liked leading in game, not dealing with all the other shit. 75% of the original playerbase for Ag1 didn't come back either so it consisted of a lot of other people. Some of the ranked officials in AG2 might surprise you to who they are now today actually, Metalic Mage, Duvasio and Brian289 all got their first experience leading while in AG2.
  4. I didn't actually "leave" DI, I was permanently banned for RWT and DI's rules at the time were very strict about having to own your own account. Brian was willing to make an exception for me because a friend and fellow DI member had an extra account he gave to me (Nosferatozod) and all was well until I teleported on video from someone and that was also against our rules at the time. Brian was again willing to make an exception (I think he liked me) and said to just wait 30 days and I could re-intro to DI. During that 30 day period a lot of my other friends from DI had left and we all started Pking on our own, we teamed with a then infant AG (much smaller) to combine our numbers and fight some bigger teams while I was on my "suspension" from PKing with DI and ultimately ended up souring the relationship with DI and joining AG as a result. I opened AG2, I was simply a member and eventually head warlord for AG1.
  5. I think OSRS was a great game, I think now Jagex has produced and pushed too many updates catering to the "solo player" mentality that Runescape has lost it's "MMO" aspect of things. I play League of Legends, Warzone, ESO and I have pre-ordered / looking forward to playing the new Avengers game. I support all Tampa teams very heavily (Tampa Bucs, Rays and Lightning)
  6. I am more of a hip hop / rap fan, I'm sure I've heard Sabbath songs but off the top of my head I couldn't tell you what their names are.
  7. Hey Victoria! I will respond as soon as I'm done writing this response, I promise. I left "abruptly" during OSRS but in reality I was getting burnt out and my girlfriend (now wife) at the time and I were starting to get more and more serious. The fact is I gave DI everything I had left in me during that summer run we had together, I was bored and burnt out of the game. I didn't want to step down / retire and ultimately Brian decided to do it for me, it was 100% mutual but I couldn't bring myself to leave as I felt so invested in the clan and our future at that point. Sports and video game, any free time I have that isn't spent with my kids / wife is on either video games or sports. I'm a huge Tampa Bay Sports fan (Lightning, Bucs, Rays). Nah, I kind of enjoy all the random rumors / misguided takes people have on me, I don't want to spoil any of them lol. I had been playing Runescape on and off casually for a while now and with Covid I've been working remotely and as such it's given me more time to play RS. True did convince me to try clanning again though and I was resistant for a while but I saw a lot of old faces and familiar names that I wanted to come chat with again.
  8. Brian - When I was DI in RS2 he was a mythical creature that spoke very few words publicly and had this no nonsense aura around him. In OSRS he (much like everyone) took things far less seriously. I think MattyB and Brian actually lead very similarly, neither made many relationships or friendships with people as to make the tough decisions easier. Men of few words but loud actions. The biggest difference is in their diplomacy, Brian was more open to finding solutions, Mattyb was more of the "I'll kill/crash your clan if you don't do it".
  9. That is actually really tough... I enjoyed my time with every clan or I would have left, I was not one to stick around and force myself to do stuff if I wasn't having fun or enjoyment in it. Largely why I was never with 1 clan for 3-4 years like sometime people were. But if I had to rank my overall experiences it would be as such: 1. AG 1 2. DI (2007) 3. ROT 4. DI (OSRS) 5. AG2 6. DF 7. Gladz 8. Jags
  10. 1. This varies heavily based on Era - my biggest "Legit" Pk would have been a little over 1 billion in BH crater when someone was trying to "transfer" items without paying AG2 for protection. 2. I made quite a significant amount of RL money off DDoSing at the duel arena in 2012`~ when Profash had a Swift IRC mode leaking him IP's. 3. I feel like I experienced the clans that I would have wanted to, if I had to pick it would probably be EH or RSD. 4. My biggest regret RS wise was pushing Sandman as hard as I did to spy on DI for me when I was in AG. He was a good friend of mine and very loyal to DI and I kind of pushed and poked until he did it.
  11. Sup Ladies. I am the one and only Geezerpunk aka Nosferatozod aka Billygoat101 aka Dropped out to scape out aka Ko'd by Ghjjf @ MB aka Whatever other name I've used and been flamed with over the years. I've been playing this wonderful paint game for 15 years now on and off and have had some semblance of activity and relevancy in most eras this game has seen. A list of my clans / ranks held. Clan Jaguar – “Junior Jag Leader” Gladz – DI – AG – “Head Warlord” AG 2 – “Leader” DF – “Warlord” ROT – Honestly can’t remember if I was officially ranked PK leader in ROT or not prior to my leaving. OSRS – DI – “Warlord” I also led/joined a few Single pking clans/teams thru ought that time, but the relevance isn’t super important to the topic at hand. I was lucky enough to be 1 of the first “popular” streamers for OSRS on Twitch as I was the only person at the time streaming any form of actual Pking content and was 1 of the first OSRS streamers to be partnered. It's going to be hard to top the previous AMA's but feel free to Ask Me (almost) Anything and I'll do my best to answer
  12. Tough having experienced so many good ones. but if I had to pick 5 I think I'd go with in no particular order. Brian / Ghjjf MattyB PeterH Lord Goro (Old Jags official from way back) Jericho (ex Leader of Gladz, and 1 of the coolest people I've ever met on Runescape)
  13. WoW is fun in short bursts but it's get really boring/repetitive after a while, ESO is probably the more simplistically fun MMO (5 action buttons total) with a decent story, FF14 was just too weeeboo for me but maybe I didn't give it a fair chance. AOC and New World both look quite awesome, not sure if I'll end up playing them due to time restraints but they look entertaining for sure.
  14. P2P single spells fighting right in the middle of my work day ? GG though to those who attended
  15. Like every GOAT discussion it's going to vary base on what era the individual holds the highest
  16. Looking back at your time @ Jagex do you think/know of any other Jagex Mods that participated in things similar to Jed? Thru all my years playing Ithere have been plenty of exploits and a few dupes. Were any of these a result of a Jagex Moderator that was kept quiet?
  17. Honestly I thoroughly enjoyed my team in every clan I was in, I would have left otherwise. AG DI ROT DF Gladz
  18. I actually did not know you were in Gladz and Jagz... What years? I am guessing we had some overlap
  19. Hope all is well bud, haven't seen/heard your name in a while. Welcome to the Retirement Tour
