I open up a lottttttt more on here than I do IRL. I'm incredibly introverted IRL, but I will try to chat up just about anyone online within gaming communities. I think it's because I know they're nerds like me. I find that I am very quiet around people IRL, but once I find that someone IRL has a common interest, I start opening up a LOT more.
