≈Vanuckle 2,134 Posted February 24, 2021 Share Posted February 24, 2021 Tempest vs Wilderland Yesterday, King of Southern America D96 reached out & asked if we would be interested in a quick 30 minute F2P battle today. Predictably, we were interested! Wilderland are very strong in F2P and fighting them allows us to duke it out against a fair and evenly matched opponent. So we prepped up our seamen and set off to see Black Heather at the bandit camp. Everyone knows that Black Heather is the town bike of the wilderness, so after we gave her a quick ride we rushed WL and the battle commenced. The shields were shaken, the spears broken, and the arrows flung out high and low. Furious action was taking place and we felt really good about our performance today. A little birdie told us that someone was massing up to crash but were struggling to assemble enough numbers to do an effective hit on us. Eager to see how things would play out, we quickly agreed to extend the cap as long as necessary to see just how few the Addy Alliance would muster today. The cap ended but we continued to fight for another eight minutes, waiting, waiting, waiting for AA to hit us. Finally, they logged in and tried to rush. We were ready. Immediately we rushed back and chased them to singles. With quick organization, we ran back to bandit camp and took a fall in, setting the trap once more. The Addy Alliance tried to rush once more but we were prepared, and hit them back, quickly clearing them out to single once more. The third and final time was the most comical. We set up our elite tank Coral Reefs in the middle of no mans land and let them try to hit him with their steel arrows and mithril swords. Obviously he was able to survive the attack and while he dragged them all the way west through our pile, we absolutely decimated the would-be crashers off the map. As they were cleared from the field of battle, we took our ending options picture and logged out, satisfied after a job well done. Thanks for the fight WL!
