Eric`` 721 Posted March 15, 2021 Share Posted March 15, 2021 No matter how crazy/unpopular you think it will be, whats something you personally want to see jagex add/remove/change in oldschool? Personally, I loved summoning and dungeoneering, I know they'll never be back, but I had a shit ton of fun with both of them and if either ever got added back it would give me a big surge in hype for oldschool. For PvP, I have wanted since the inception of CWA for them to add a west tree - GD's map where loot is lost on death. I think this would make things like 1v1's and real true ranking systems something that would be reputable and common place! Discuss, interested to hear everyone's ideas! Adam_ 1,040 Posted March 15, 2021 Share Posted March 15, 2021 raids 3 and other group bosses that are actually fun and not tedious like nightmare and enjoyable half decent client and/or hire runelite lads to work for them officially then bin 3pc delete duel arena dungeoneering in the form of a minigame probably not a skill as i don't feel it'd fit osrs as a new skill do want a new skill though, the exploration one that got suggested not long ago was neat new minigames and some of the good ones from pre eoc brought back, especially fist of guthix fix wildy bosses being dogshit to kill unless safespotted transmog for verzik pet auth removal delay or the backup codes or w/e they proposed like 2 yrs ago now fix login spamming decent customer support, the jmods we have do ok but they aren't really intended to be customer support agents even when they are able to help with stuff more quests that aren't 15 minute novice quests something good for pvp/wilderness that doesnt break the game or the economy like bh or revs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think the things that made runescape great were the chill casual group content that people would be able to jump on and do together while being able to relax and just have a good time. Weekly events like tears/penguins or daily stuff like shooting stars and skills like dungeoneering really brought people some casual content that was worth doing with your friends. I feel like were on a dangerous line catering to the people who want to be in max gear, pray switching, half an inventory full of gear swaps, and that kind of shit and forgetting what people started playing runescape for in the first place! I agree to some extent, I also like the casual group content as you've called it The issue is that people are more against the idea of dailyscape type content where they feel pressured to do it. I guess it's partially the same issue, but I definitely understand to an extent where feeling the need to do certain daily tasks on a game contributes to burn out and can just be time consuming They changed shooting stars to be a bit less daily scape but i'm hoping it'll still be fun to do casually with a group, and perhaps we could see other similar stuff like that in the future with similar alterations to make it more fitting for the game but still enjoyable I'd also be very much in favor of dungeoneering as mentioned in my first post where i named some of the things i'd like to see, but don't think it'd necessarily need to be a skill, probably more of a minigame with decent rewards. I'd also be in favor of other group content whether it'd be more casual or more intense (raids 3/more group bosses that aren't as annoying as stuff like nightmare) and other stuff like i mentioned The main issue is the game and community simply aren't what they once were, so 'forgetting what people started playing runescape for' doesn't really apply unfortunately, though I also agree with the sentiment.
