Tempest vs Ancient Fury

With American Thanksgiving just around the corner, Tempest was looking for a feast, and so asked AF if they were interested in a weekend showdown (F2P WWE Beatdown style) and they willingly obliged. Met in a new location as our wilderness tour 2021 continued in style and when Sunday rolled around, pulled a nice healthy ~60 to meet AF at the Temple of Chaos. Little did we know how truly chaotic today would be!

As we battled clean for quite a while, we wondered if ROT would eventually show, and after 15-20 mins of scrapping, saw ROT trickle in with only 2-3 members trying to do damage with their blunted weapons. Having no effect we continued the fight as they slowly gained in ones and twos. We sent a snipe unit to clear them out and soon the true fun began. Once they managed to get up to 12-13 in game, we turned our attention to them and continually cleared them off the face of the map. It was a scorched earth policy. They simply didn't stand a chance today.

Before long, we sent national geographic photographer @dnd5 out to capture wild ROT members in their natural habitat. Reduced to 1 item and dead on arrival.

At one point they logged in on pure accounts only to realize they couldn't attack us, so we told them to hurry their mass regroup up and log in on mains. They listened and logged in, only to be cleared fully in less than a minute. Wanting to give them a chance, after we said our GF to AF, we moved up to Ghost Hut to give them a little more incentive to fight (deep enough wild for med accs to hit us...). Unfortunately those at ROT HQ couldn't do the math quick enough and while they desperately tried to come up with a plan of attack, we were busy smiting their members out for rune full helms, rune scims, b-axes, thousands of arrows, and much more of their precious coin.
