Tempest vs ROT in the Ultimate F2P Battle to Save Gielinor

We were originally scheduled to have a fight tonight but with the African Cup of Nations (soccer tournament) heating up, no one really wanted to do battle against the mighty Tempest. We had a lot of members wanting to get some action in, so instead of planning a fight, we massed up about 90 people and went into the F2P wilderness to look for some PVMers and small teams PKing.

It was a pretty eventful afternoon as we cleared out the deep Altar and the Rune Rocks before moving East to see if anyone was PKing at Gdz. We caught wind with our experienced and detailed intelligence network that a ROT member left their PM on, and not wanting to miss an opportunity to get some free addy, we logged in on them unannounced and the battle began at East Tree.

We were heavily outnumbered but we always back ourselves as a pretty good OSRS clan and so we felt comfortable with our performance through the entirety of the battle. Huge spam towers, numerous nice tanks from members across the map and elite level calling from every Warlord, General, Officer, Marshal, Legend, etc in Tempest and the whole clan was hyped to get a huge F2P battle like this once more.

To their credit ROT realized this was no every day battle and attempted to return in rune against us for the first time... Mostly. But our high seamen energy all the way to the end meant that we ended in true Tempest style, and despite being outnumbered by 40+, still managed an even KDR - something I think every seamen is happy with. Thanks to everyone for helping show that PK trips in the F2P wild (and smoking noobs with a rune scim) are still a thing 15 years later.
