US is definitely a young country relative to the rest of the world.

This video is inaccurate a lot of these countries were not really independent/conquered for a substantial amount of time.

This and it's biased as fuck too.

You've got large powers like Germany forming almost a 100 years after the U.S. so why start with the U.S.? And what about France who's on its fifth republic which was started post WWII? Does that technically count?

they had a really arbitrary start point for Spain too. you could honestly say that they started a new country when Francisco Franco died, or when he took power, or when the Catholics seized power from the Arabs in ~1490

In all seriousness, it's more interesting to figure out when different peoples came to be, not when they were fortunate enough to found a country around themselves. Looking at that level also makes things more interesting, at least in Europe, where even today big countries consist of regions where languages and cultures slowly shift as you move in any direction (as opposed to sharply changing when crossing a border). You even have the smaller countries in between using multiple languages (like Belgium using German, Dutch & French, and Switzerland using German, French & Italian) or a mixture of them (Andorra using Catalan, which exists between French and Spanish).
