What are some of your fondest memories of THE and TF?

I miss large scale wars - even though we were ABSOLUTELY slaughtered the scale of 'The' vs 'DS' was insane. The world we warred on had like a 4x4 draw distance. We had a friendly steel war(lol) vs TMRD that boiled down to a 1v1 with yogosun winning. I joined TF right around the time Phobia close so I didn't have the opportunity to experience that rivalry. I remember one time that adelais posted a video of them logging into a TF forum account one time so I tried some names that looked similar to the pixelated with the password 123456 and found the account, lmfao. I remember we had one win vs DF and they were FURIOUS on rsc, then we just dodged them for months. I also NO LIFED bandits for like two weeks to win a training contest, I didn't have an abby whip because my account was pretty much only combat

Biggest regret?

TF admins would vote for members after a two week trial period. I wish I had been a little more lenient when voting to accept people in. TF was bound to fold though, it was beginning to reach a point where all top 20 clans had 110+ combat average. Pest Control turned combat training on its head. Maybe increase 'the' clan combat req. A lot of people didn't really feel included after graduating to 'The'. I don't really blame them, it's tough to mix the old guard with the new guard, esp. when after you graduated the majority of your friends were still in TF. I don't think there were enough inter-clan pks. We should have also had more wars. Warring died in favor of returning fights, and people didn't really want to spend millions on rune sets with their in game experience.

Honestly I was 13-14 at the time, I just really loved TF. 'The' clan was very anchored in their mannerisms and people interested in pking clans had much better options.

One time someone as acting a little TOO enthusiastic so I told them I had my eye on them (as a TF spy) in MSN messenger... later on I joined the same clan as them (Adelais) and they confessed to me that I made them scared shitless and they were infact spying LMAO

I think you were there when I was in TF. The atmosphere created was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. The push to graduate worked for me since the goal only ever was to graduate. I know others didn't like it but as I see it that was the point of TF.

Can't answer the Phobia question but I don't really think anyone was too affected by Adelais we didn't actively try to avoid until near the end of my tenure as a tf admin... the way TF worked too many clans would just outlevel them. Going from TF staff -> Adelais.  Junior clans were on the door out, TC (the corrupted) was first. Honestly I think TC gave us the most difficulty, because they returned and plenty of TF members didn't. The clan world changed from significantly from with people getting 90 magic for the annakarl teleport. Most people who showed interest in being TF staff were former TF members and were probably in the mid 110s... few exceptions. This was 15 years ago when I was 13/14 so my memory is obviously a little hazy when it comes to the subject

I don't think I ever really said it but just want to thank everyone for the contributions they made to 'The'/TF, there are so many familiar names on these forums from the last two AMA's and it's really heartwarming to see there is still a connection in some way.

Also thanks to whoever it was that decided RS clans needed an AMA section and made me realise that clans are still a thing.

Back in the Jr clan days, which junior clans do you feel were the strongest? Think the only two I was in as a kid were Descendant Guardians (WG) and Phobia (FEAR). I was gutted when Fear/Phobia closed but didn't follow to Adelais because I didn't meet the reqs.

@Germs22 - Now that I've got my bitching out of the way, I hope you know I loved 'the', and I loved coming up under you. If it wasn't for you and jess I woulda never made it to what I was in Cor, always respect you so much for that. A lot of the reason I wanted to make 'the' a true force was for you, and maybe that's not what you wanted in the end but I always wanted to deliver it to you.

@Valaraz - I hate that you had to go inactive, with you at the helm I feel we were so close to becoming a permanent name in the top 10.

 

@Moombatamer5 - I don't think i've ever disagreed with you on anything, to this day you're one of the best leaders this games ever seen and you deserve your credit, a lot of the people who would go on to do great things in this game came up under you, and that says a lot, thank you for your time!

 

@ 'THE' in general, this clan was such a source of both joy and frustration for me but while I was here, I gave you guys everything I had, I'll never forget alot of the amazing things we were able to accomplish together.

I honestly don't remember the name but if I heard I'd know. I believe they were Jewish? They weren't someone from "core" The+TF. I don't think they were in Adelais much longer after I joined (went inactive). Pretty obvious but any Phobia who joined TF definitely shared forum information with Adelais in its nascent stages. I never shared information etc after before/after leaving TF/'The'. Not sure about others who did, I never asked.
