That big cancer fest you mentioned could be the starting point of new main clans or at least new members joining the main scenario due to their pure alliances

 

In this case I can only see benefits if this means more pvp action, either on pures or mains. I dont think there's anything much worse than a dead wilderness quite frankly — and by that I'm ignoring no honors spying/ddosing/doxxing/etc, for their presence on both scenarios.

You then have absolute trash pure clans like Zenith who actively involved themselves in the beef by hiding with Apex/ROT so that other pure clans couldn't hit them with getting dragged into it themselves.

 

There's a few good pure clans left out there but they are left with a half broken scene because of the dumb decisions of other pure clans.

Pure clans are cringe half of them can be attacked by maxed mains and some of them are like 99 99 20 with 99 prayer and it's like what's the point, at this stage you might as well just be a fucking main. Pures became a pointless concept when they started fighting each other instead of mains, people they had a considerable advantage over.

If they start becoming main clans it'll mean more action, but it'll also mean a lot more cancerous individuals and clans in the main scene. Do you think that'd really be worth it ?

Along with them I'm sure the members tired of that toxic environment will probably mass leave, as it always happened at some point. In this case, yes, it would be worth it. Cancerous individuals just won't go away. We have to benefit from their misery 😳😎🤏🏻

I would love to contribute to this discussion cus I went from main scene to pure scene until recently, but the trauma is way too big

They should really stay separate from each other because the mentality is a lot different. Both scenes are probably better off without each other.

I think it's an interesting dynamic to see pures/mains clans involved with each other, but probably not what many of the pure clan members signed up for. The whole concept of a pure was to make your combat low as possible while maximizing damage output, but now it's gotten a bit ridiculous where most pure clans have several meds/mains at their disposal. I think pure PKing is still fun and alive in 1v1 situations, but in team fights every clan will prioritize the more strategic build, which is probably a med over a 99 99 20 pure. 

 

I also don't know to what extent you can even blame pure clan leadership, b/c main clans will do whatever they want. It's a way of having proxy wars against each other via pure clans. Everyone and their mom's know the events will be Saturday F2P - 3 PM EST and Sunday P2P - 3 PM EST every single weekend, so it's easy free action/events for main clans.

That's one of the good things about pure clanning. Guaranteed weekly action at a set time.

I find this makes it more accessible for new members. The best thing the pure scene as going for it IMO is its lower barrier to entry. Stat requirements are lower, there usually isn't much of an in-depth application process, and the main action is a set time every week.

This is big and shouldn't be discredited, part of the reason the spacicity is so high in the pure scene is because it's the first exposure to clanning for a lot of people.

 

As of right now, the pure scene is just a proxy war for the main scene and it looks like a lot of the fights are kind of annoying to be involved in. I agree that the med levels kind of pointless. If mains can attack them why not just mains? Wouldn't that be the meta? 😂
