  1. I don't know if anyone has asked this or something similar, but I'm far too lazy to look. What do you think is the cause for Brazilians players hating each other so much? Out of all the language-based communities, from the Lithuanians, to the Dutch, to the Fins, and even the Spanish speakers, I've never seen any of the animosity I've seen from the Brazilians compare. And I'd go as for to say that this isn't even just RS, I've witnessed similar activity in other MMOs with Brazilian players.
  2. OT: I don't like to drink. But in the few occasions I do, I prefer something simple like a screwdriver or a glass of red wine.
  3. On the flip side, you've been an alcoholic ever since departing DF.

    [SRS] Steak

I've been to certain restaurants that don't even ask you how you want your steak. It comes out medium rare and that's it. Which speaks volumes.
  7. You're comparing an entire sport vs a singular organization. Boxing doesn't benefit the way MMA does under one mainstream org, but instead is split up into 4 (technically more than 4, but those are the main ones). Boxing also suffers from over a century of involvement of organized crime and other forms of corruption. Even to this day all of the top ranked fighters have such huge inflated records because of cans and pad fights. So, UFC/MMA is better. But in a perfect world, Boxing would be far better. Muay Thai would be even better though if it could gain some mainstream traction in the west.

    Sports.

What childhood sports did you take up and why? Baseball and Basketball. Baseball was a natural one. Was a big sport in my family and amongst my childhood friends. Basketball I kind of got into on a whim when a youth league had started up fresh in my area, so I thought what the hell, I'll see what I can do. Did you ever make it far in the chosen sport? I played Baseball from Tee Ball (like age 6) up until I was about 16. Basketball from about age 12 until age 15. I stopped playing both in high school due to skill ceiling becoming increasingly large. Basketball was near impossible in an inner city for me, as at 15 I was about 5'8 and the shortest person on our varsity team was like 6'1. I did not have the kind of skill to make up for the height difference. Baseball I could have competed if I really tried. I was pretty good at it naturally, but I didn't take it as seriously as a lot of others and I fell behind because of it. Pitchers at my age were learning more breaking balls and the pitches were getting faster and faster, and my lack of effort had become apparent so I hung up my glove. Are you currently still doing any of the sports you did and how often? No. I've played Basketball a few times over the years with friends, but nothing organized. Proudest accomplishments? My team won the little league (age 11-12 or so at the time) cup in my city back to back, so that was nice. Nothing in Basketball though. Biggest regrets? I guess giving up on Baseball. I may have been able to continue if I put in more effort, but I'll never really know. Not that I would have made it to a university team or anything, hell no. But finishing school on the team might've been nice.

  11. If this were 4 months ago when F2P was still gaining traction, I could maybe agree. But from what it looks like there's about 4 clans who DF would be fighting in F2P and it would just be a cycle of fighting clan A, then B, then C, which I imagine could be pretty repetitive. P2P has saw some periods like that, with DF/Af/Rev only cycling between each other in P2P, but some more clans have gotten themselves together like Vit, WM, TS, BC, AC, Veng, etc. which offers variety. There's also the elephant in the room that's being ignored - the fact that DF's pulls, which average at around 40, would be subpar for top-tier F2P PvP. DF seemed to have mastered the element of P2P at that bracket, but with F2P I can see it being a bit lackluster.
  12. Being an F2P clan forces you to rely on other clans for activity. Being a P2P clan gives you the opportunity to do whatever you want. DF suffered for being the only F2P clan left in 2017. Looks to me like DF is flourishing right now in their own way. They just keep to themselves.

  14. Idk how you go any further "right" than this, as I have some right-wing views (capital punishment, anti-marxist economics, tough on immigration etc) and still comfortably left. You'd have to be against gay marriage and are overly religious and all that jazz which is a bit worrying.
  15. If it's coming out of the actual speakers/your headset, it has to be related to your sound card. If you want to test it out, you can buy external sound cards with USB support for like $10 on Amazon (or similar sites). If it's still happening with the new sound card, it's definitely going to be a larger issue with the motherboard (as that is where your current built-in sound card will be).
