Depends on context but mostly wet because if you've painted something and it's dry, you don't really look at it as paint anymore? Like, it's there ofc, but for example I've been painting my walls. I don't look at the walls and think of the paint anymore. I just see colored walls.

First console was Nintendo Entertainment System. ~1993. Not 100% sure on first game but I played Super Mario Bros 3 a lot. I still have it but it doesn't play well with modern TVs I've found lol.
