@The End 2,069 Posted November 1, 2021 Share Posted November 1, 2021 After a tumultuous PvM Battle Royale earlier in the year and a successful inner-clan PVM Comp to kick off the summer, we approached Wild Might for an autumn PvM Comp. We went in knowing they put up quite a challenge and it took us a miraculous Ely at the eleventh hour last time we had a PvM Comp with them to pull ahead on wealth and points. After some negotiations we set the competition over a 10-day period ranging from October 22nd to October 31st, and with three categories -- most wealth, most points, and most unique drops. We kicked off the competition strong, securing an arcane sigil and two spectral sigils on the very first night, and capped it off with a 4-man Tbow with @Casey's insane luck the following day. Seeing our success at Corp, Wild Might proceeded to camp Corp Beast the rest of the competition and netted a lot of their own spectral and arcane sigils. The next few days of the comp we ventured into GWD, but unfortunately saw limited success while Wild Might continued to net points and wealth at Corp and elsewhere. Midway into the competition we went back to our roots at Corp and were immediately rewarded with several arcane and spectral sigils. With three days left in the competition we had a solid lead in wealth backed by our T Bow, but Wild Might had their own lead in points spearheaded by Zulrah and Vorkath. Friday morning, with a little over two days left in the Comp, Wild Might were finally rewarded for their long nights at Corp Beast and received the elusive Elysian sigil. While all seemed lost for us trailing hundreds of millions of GP in wealth, the same afternoon, @Stewiecame in clutch with the ironman T Bow to put us back on top slightly. The next day saw both clans aiming to take the wealth lead, but like last time the night before the competition ended, history repeated itself, and @Justyncame through with the Elysian sigil, essentially guaranteeing our wealth lead. The last day we made a push for points featuring @Caseyreceiving a Olm pet, but we ultimately came up short of Wild Might's point total. Overall, it was a very successful and fun competition for both clans. Thanks for agreeing to do this as always Wild Might and now that that the score is 3-3 from our two competitions, I'm looking forward the tie-breaker in the future.
