Not RS related but my Mother when I was way younger and we'd moved from London to South Africa, and then Italy, decided one day when I was 17 she was going to put me on a plane to England with 50 euros in my pocket and say "good luck". An ex-WoW guildie put me up in his flat for a year in Wales whilst I was able to build up and move back to South Africa, never forgotten him, still one of my best mates on an IRL level today, I sometimes I forget I met him on WoW cos we've been friends for 12 years now. I'm not a street smart guy, the councils in England didn't wanna help me despite the fact I had a British passport because I hadn't been in the country for 6 months or more (and even then, I wouldn't be a priority on their housing list because I was over 16). I would not have survived on the street so this was crazy luck. My Dad was still in prison at the time too so basically I needed to survive 2 years to be "safe", got a year in Cardiff, went straight to my Dad when he got released and then went back to South Africa for a couple of years because I had a good job there and needed to bring a decent amount of money back to setup in Europe again. All from one gaming mate I literally was able to survive my late teens in a domino effect.

Also thank you for your answers to my questions, I was glad to see you approached it for what it was (ie subjective observations) instead of seeing it as me taking a shot, because TR was genuinely one of my favourite GMT clans and achieved that which TBE could not, which was be a decent English speaking GMT clan. They couldn't even get the GMT part right after a while lol. To go back to Q2 - the meta has definitely evolved and there are some true generational talents around atm in terms of callers and players, clients not even in the equation here (as someone that fucking hates them and can't wait until Ash nukes them); it's more emphasis on how numbers and RNG were more than individual member quality back then. Superclans like Solace, Adelais and then of course COR, TT for example, are clans you'd expect to perform 10 years later, RSD in contrast is a clan I would not still expect to perform now had they come back. They'd be another Divine Forces basically lol. If most of your 100 people were half decent you were in with a shot regardless of how good the other clan was, because you need to take a considerable lead to win a full out comfortably and say "yeah we literally did just outclass them" and run-ins well, GMT and run-in doesn't really mix, but this was already at the point PKRIs were ruined by fast returning. Simply buy 300 sets and you're good to return for 8 hours every saturday 3 months in a row. Back when you could wipe another clan off the map in a PRKI on equal numbers by being better, that was prime. The issue I had was that TR members in general at the time were behaving like they were one of the elite clans in the game and well, they weren't, they were just one of the few clans left that could match top clans pulls. TR were good, just not as good as they thought was my opinion. But a couple of your callers were elite level in that era. Once again appreciated! God bless Michelle.

The new/current iteration has an ego far past any previous accolades warranting it when personally don't think TR has ever been as good as they thought they were, if TR were to have an 100v100 now they'd get thoroughly smoked. 100v100 back in BH/PvP world era really was anyones game especially when a lot of clans by that time deprecated in quality pretty hard, EH being one of them yet I felt like a lot of TR members had an attitude about it on RSC because "we nearly beat EH past their prime". With that said, is TR one of the best GMT clans of all time? Yes, but not in quality; just you outgrew the midsize and had enough to compete in the top 10 which was in large parts, anywhere between a numbers game vs who had the better timezone spread; I am aware the latter being an issue for TR because well, you're GMT. What are your thoughts on this statement? 3) How the fuck did you ever let H0tgun lead TR? For me it was when the clan lost any credibility. The TR I knew would never have ever let him be anything more than a calling rank.

I was toying with whether to take an autism shot or congratulate you. I have decided. Huge grats. And let's face it, I'd have only gone with the former out of jealousy that this looks like super fun but I can't ever let anyone see me say that because admitting it would be a sign of weakness. One thing that might have been better to have done at the start is note done all gains that weren't done through questing or killing something on the quest so we can see just how much training you had to do. How did you get quest slayer reqs? Did you have to manually train almost every slayer level? Also like most people NMZ still gives me PTSD from DI, and I didn't even finish levelling there before I tapped out and bought an account off Ggs for like 200 bucks.

No. Just like classic it was only good when it was current. It's not as fun when it becomes a massive speedrun and TBC PvP was probably the worst era of WoW PvP ever, idk who ever thought Arena was a good idea and whilst it was fun, TBC was not the expansion for it because combat in the game was still piss.
