When True mentioned it to me, like many others thought I thought he was absolutely out of his mind. But Him among many other dedicated boomers made it work! The clan that asked me to do something I thought I'd never do again, something I last did many moons ago. True approached me and asked if I was intrested in f2p pvp. Honestly I didn't know how to answer. A rush of found memories from UBH came flooding in. All the good times pvming, pking, and even skilling as a group of like minded individuals. But, that was long ago. Long before jobs and realy life complications. I wondered to myself if it was something I could even do. Staying with an opened mind I said I'd give it a shot and boy am I glad I did! Flash forward to our first fight. I don't know anyone outside of true. Every caller, every voice, even the tactics used to fight were all new to me. My heart was pounding, my hands were shaking. All I wanted to do was start this thing. It was at that moment I knew I had made the right choice and I knew we had something special. Spoiler alert I got 1 ticked on my first tank. Haha Tempest has proven time and time again that the good will prevail. Hard work and dedication will set you apart from the evil doers. The staff at Tempest are some of the most dedicated, hardworking, diligent, and professional people I had ever met. That being said, Tempest wouldn't be where it is today if it wasn't for its awesome members. It's because of us that this ship stays afloat and on course. Take some time to sit back and look at what we have done as a group and enjoy it. Just look at whose on top now. Tempest has achieved more in just one year than some clans have in their decade plus existence. We built something unrivaled here that no other clan will ever match. True initially asked me to join in 2020 and I said no at least twice because I couldn't be arsed with hack/ddos/dox/client RPG. 6 months later I finally decided to put up with it and I'm glad I did, because let's be honest whilst it isn't going to sink in until this is over, this is probably the last time all of us are going to be playing together, and there is a long daisy-chain of friendships here with many spanning back to childhood and I knew I'd be pretty fucking gutted if I didn't come back one last time.
