We used to pull around 120 opts. The process was like this... during those years almost every clan had an official alliance with another clan or even multiple clans. We didn't have one, so we started looking. It came down to a few options but we had some friends in Col. The leadership talked it out, seemed like a good idea to make an alliance. Each clan made a topic to their own members explaining the benefits of an alliance. Than there was a vote held in each clan. Both clans voted by a majority to make an alliance. I honestly did not have the energy to deal with that personally. There was just too much shit I had to deal with internally. Left it up to the other high ranking officials and some pk leaders. I believe that we had spies in DF, VR, RSD and Di. What sort of spies, I really can't say. I know we botted some accounts or something but I am sure that there also the edating spies. During the mutiny there was a member that joined DF, I knew he would never betray me. He stayed in DF a bit longer than d0nts and fed me some useful info from time to time. Eventually he came back to TT as well. I forgot his rsn but if I find the memberlist from early 2009 I will remember him. Basically I didn't blacklist him and d0nts. Any sort of hacked accounts were out of the question. If I found out that somebody was pulling shady shit like that they would have been kicked from the clan. They were simply better clans early on. TT closed 2 times while those powerhouses were setting the standard in the clan world. When TT reopened the 3rd time it focused on community and organization. That means low numbers. When TT achieved #1 F2P a lot of clans closed and their members wanted to join us. This created a rift in the clan and we decided to implement a very complex FA system. This system stopped the clan from becoming another mass recruited shit show like some other clans at the time. The clan stabilized and the members/officials were happy with the decision.
