Unfortunately, 98% of the logs aren't of interest.  They're talking about random daily happenings or just friendly chatter.  One day I wouldn't mind sorting through them to pull out the interesting conversations.  I'd be really concerned though about posting them, because there is personal or private information that was said in the confidence of only leaders being around, that it isn't my place to post without permission of all those involved.

Here is one for fun though - decisions to call off returning 6 hours into a fight with VR (very early in our history, probably 2006 when 6 hours was a really long fight), Striker being Striker, running Broski out of rune sets and Ava changing the tone to the positives of the fight:

As what I'd mentioned earlier, I felt like I could have done a much better job of mentoring.

 

As my successor, I saw the most potential in Nullusion and Slaughter for different reasons.  With Nullusion, especially, I spent a lot of time scenario planning and running through different tactical ideas.  I saw in Nullusion: 1.) an interest in the tactical, 2.) a lot of experience as a pk leader, 3.) good fall in leader, and 4.) a good motivator.  Nullusion was extremely dedicated to EH, and was one of the ones working hardest toward our success.  With Slaughter I saw that he: 1.) inspired confidence in the members, 2.) was probably our best fall in leader, 3.) was a quick learner.  Slaughter definitely had a lot of respect from the members and leadership team.

Both of these individuals had success in the clan world after EH, with Nullusion currently leading DR.

For Officers, I especially saw potential in Tristan138 and Ava_Ad0re.  Both of these were introspective, thoughtful individuals who helped to advance the community of the clan.  I don't think either of these folks would have comprised on our ideals.  We had many other officers/members who I felt really excelled as mentors to new members, some of whom include, Fiercechamp, Stokiedeb, Swtkittn, MajinVegeta, Rocky, and Lil Blaknite.

I was a Future Knight mentor in EH before I became a Commander.  I mentored a lot of members coming in.  The biggest person I took under my wing though was not part of that program and that was Slaughter.  I saw a ton of potential in him and tried to make sure he had the right tools in place to realize his potential and positioned him for success.  I tried to help him grow and encourage his confidence whenever possible.  I would like to think it worked.

I don't think anyone has ever really looked up to me, but there were people who I saw as having a lot of potential while I was in the same clan - or team - as them. 

 

I personally saw Kent ( @5554447 ) as someone who was loaded with potential in his ability to be a great caller & tried to get him calling as often as he could. I know he was promoted late into the life of EH, and I believe quit the game shortly after, but thought he was the one who had the most potential to be a great caller in the game -- just didn't have the experience yet. He was clear, organized, humorous, and well-liked by the community. The same went for Blazzin, he was part of the BHND crew but he was a quality caller despite the lack of experience he had. He would have matured well as he got older and gained the experience he needed.

 

While in EH, I was also a part of some teams, and met guys like @true, @Stewie, Lindsey, and many others. I felt like while in those teams, I was able to get to know these people and see how potentially influential they could be in the clan world. They each had unique skill sets that made me think they could have an important impact on their respective clans. Stewie was a funny guy and garnered a lot of respect from the people around him. He was motivational in his calling and I thought he was strategically astute when it came to setting up events with LND. I think he was involved in TRWF's rank system later on and did some calling in their clan, from what I can remember of the short time I was there. Not sure what happened to Linds, but she was kind, genuine, and clear of mind. She seemed to not become too influenced by outside factors. Did what she thought was right and I really respected her for that. We all know what happened with True. 

 

After EH, I joined a couple clans, and only remember really one or two names. When in Solace, I think I originally joined due to some friendships with tmo and FM11, but I actually became close with someone named Derek. We shared a lot of similar interests and got along really well right off the bat. Early on I saw Derek as an important figure in the clan. He kind of kept to the shadows, but he was incredibly perceptive and quick witted. He knew a little something about everyone. Constantly informed. One thing I noticed that he did really well was balance being serious and having a laugh. It takes a certain skill set and a lot of character to do that effectively and still garner the necessary respect from your peers while doing so. At that stage in my clanning career, I was literally as washed as anyone could be, but I still had enough juice and experience to know that he was one of the more talented people I'd ever come across in the game. Lost touch with him, but when coming back heard that he now co-leads RoT. He's on the other side of the battlefield but I have to respect the dedication it would have taken to get where he is. Happy to see that I wasn't the only one who saw his shining potential either.

 

Few others I could name in there, but tend to forget at this stage. I saw @MILAD as someone with huge potential and just needing the right environment to thrive. Happy he was able to find it.

I want to start off by saying thank you to @true and Tempest as a whole for providing the venue to conduct this AMA.  I've always read threads like this but never thought I would actually be answering one.  This has been a remarkably positive experience and a refreshing nostalgia trip going through the history of Eternal Honour, our humble beginnings, how we got to where we did and how things ended.  I am thoroughly grateful for the opportunity to participate alongside @3lite, @Vanuckle and @Grug.  It has also been great to see so many old names pop in for this.  Lastly, thank you to everyone for the great questions.  If anyone gets the opportunity to do one of these, I highly recommend it.  It's a blast!  If there are any questions that someone feels like they didn't get a satisfactory answer to, or something you forgot to ask, you can always find me in Discord.

Thank you to @true, Tempest, and Tempest community members for the thought-provoking questions and the opportunity to relive some of these old memories.

Really appreciate S17, Xero, Grug, and other EH members who have contributed to this topic to add their own perspectives.

 

Lastly, thanks to the old friends and rivals to EH for helping to build memories that last after ten years of the clan being closed.  We were all part of a very special thing in the clan world of that period, and I'll look back on that time with fondness and nostalgia.
